ENNIS LUCAS---Ennis Lucas, 69, of Shelbyville, died September 26, 2002, in Nacogdoches. Burial was in White Rock Cemetery.  Born September 24, 1933, in Nacogdoches, he was the son of Samuel Troy and Leta Johnson Lucas.   Survivors include daughter, Connie Hodges of Shelbyville; son, Kerry Lucas of Center; sisters, Lillie Mae Williamson of White Rock Community and Vircle McSwain of Aiken.  Watson & Sons Funeral Home
HAL BOREN---Hal Boren, 75, of Center died September 28, 2002 in Center.  Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park.  Born November 25, 1926 in San Augustine County, he was the son of Bronson C. and Annie Epps Boren.  Mr. Boren is survived by his wife Leetha Boren, daughters, Angela Cross of Crockett and Allison Harbison of Shelbyville; sons, Matt Boren of Center and Jeff Boren of Cocoa, Florida.  Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
KENNETH RANDALL WILBURN---Kenneth Wilburn, 41, of Vidor died September 27, 2002 in Vidor.  Burial was in West Hamilton Cemetery, Shelbyville.  Born October 2, 1960 in Center, he was the son of Kenneth Maurice and Katherine Sherrod Wilburn.   Mr. Wilburn is survived by his daughter, April Rene Wilburn; mother, Katherine Sherrod Wilburn; brother, Ralph Wilburn; and fiancee, Sussanne O'Neill all of Vidor.   Mangum Funeral Home.
BOBBY C. BOWDEN---Bobby Bowden, 66, of Logansport, Louisiana died September 30, 2002 in Shreveport, Louisiana.  Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park.  Born August 24, 1936, in Logansport, he was the son of Murry and Mable Ferguson Bowden.  Mr. Bowden is survived by his wife, Shirley Ann Kerr Bowden; son Tim Bowden of Joaquin,  Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
DENA BERNICE STRICKLAND---Bernice Strickland, 84, of Center died September 30, 2002 in Holiday Nursing Home. Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park.  Born May 26, 1918, she was the daughter of William Thomas and Lula Simpson Cobb.  Mrs. Strickland is survived by her husband Julian Strickland.  Mangum Funeral Home.
WARRENA ALEXANDER TAYLOR---Rena Taylor, 79, of Center, died October 2, 2002.  Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park.  Born March 25, 1923, in Deadwood, Texas, she was the daughter of William Jefferson and Elizabeth Lagrone Alexander.  Mrs. Taylor is survived by her husband, Thomas Julian Taylor; son, Thomas J. Taylor II of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Ray Taylor of San Antonio; daughters, JoAnn Taylor Clafferty of Waco and Terri Taylor Akin of Houston; sister, Polly Sauls of Nederland.  Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
