JAMONIE NASH
Jamonie Nash, better known as JNash, died September 25, 2022 in Nacogdoches, Texas.  Interment was in Mt. Gillion Cemetery, Shelby County.  He was born July 10, 1999 in Nacogdoches, Texas.  Prayers and Condolences to the family of Bishop William Nash and 1st Lady Pearlie Nash.
Services entrusted to Sid Roberts Funeral Home, 3535 S.E. Stallings Dr., Nacogdoches, TX 75961.

DOROTHY NELL STRONG
Dorothy Nell Strong, 91, of Joaquin, died October 2, 2022, in Joaquin.  Interment was in Brookland Cemetery, Joaquin.  She was born October 6, 1930, to Hilda Shirey Creech and William H. Creech.  She was preceded in death by, Husband, R.C. Strong; Son, Robert “Buck” Strong Jr.; Sister, Doris Ann Crenshaw; Parents; Significant other, Bud Hooper.  Survivors include, Sons, Jim Strong & wife Judy, Chester W. Strong & wife Marilyn; Brother, William “Buddy” Creech & wife Suzanne.

APRIL JULISSA CAVAZOS-GUZMAN
April Julissa Cavazos-Guzman, 20, of Nacogdoches, Texas, died September 27, 2022 in Nacogdoches, Texas.  She was born on October 10, 2001, in Nacogdoches, Texas, to Eloy Cavazos and Yolanda Guzman-Cavazos.  She attended Center High School.  She was preceded in death by, Sister, Jasmin Cavazos.  Survivors include, Boys, Arlo Cavazos, Josman Cavazos; Parents, Eloy Cavazos and Yolanda Guzman; Sisters, Anita Guzman, Lilliana Balderas, Laura Balderas & husband Edwin Melenez; Brothers, Jose Guzman & wife Prisila, Edgar Guzman & wife Leah, Ricardo Guzman Cavazos.

JERRY BASS
Jerry "Perch" Bass, 69, of Joaquin, died September 30, 2022, in Center.  Interment was in Sholar Cemetery, Shelby County.  He was born February 12, 1953, to Fay Woods Bass and Clarence Emmitt Bass Sr.  He was preceded in death by, Parents; Brother, Clarence Emmitt Bass Jr.; Sister, Annie Ruth Richards.  Survivors include, Children, Shelly Bass and Michael Bass of Joaquin; Sisters, Martha Shelton of Joaquin,
Billie Pritchett of Joaquin.
