CANDY (ANSLEY) NESTLE
Candy (Ansley) Nestle, 61, of Center, Texas, died October 11, 2025.  Interment was in McClelland Cemetery, Shelby County.  She was born on January 9, 1964, in Houston, Texas, to Glenn and Alice (Chandler) Ansley.  She was preceded in death by her father, Glenn Ansley.  Survivors include, Children, Alice Nestle and husband, Michael Nichols of Center, Allen Nestle and wife, Nikki of Center; Mother, Alice Ansley; Siblings, Tom Ansley and wife, Denise, Allison Ansley Hartz and husband, Timothy.

LILLIE GLENN
Lillie Glenn, 83, of Timpson, died October 13, 2025 in Tyler, Texas.  Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Timpson, Texas.  She was born February 10, 1942 in Morgan City, Louisiana to Hebert and Ellen (Reeves) Brown.  She was preceded in death by, Parents; Husband, Earnest Glenn, Sr.; Daughter, Barbara Ozan; Sister, Katherine Marino.  Survivors include, Son, Earnest Glenn, Jr.; Daughters, Sharon Hough and husband, Dwayne, Debra Amos and husband, Tim; Brother, Harold Brown and wife, Jernl; Sister, Elizabeth Brown.

ALICE O’REAR McCANN
Alice O’Rear McCann, 93, was born in Huxley on September 6, 1932. She died on October 13, 2025. Interment was in Wimberly Cemetery in Huxley.  She was preceded in death by, Parents, Elzie and Netie O’Rear; Father-in-law and Mother-in-law,
J. B. and Bessie McCann; Sister, Sue Boles; Brothers, J. P., Travis, Cindy, Billie Joe,  Mack O’Rear; Sisters-in-law, Joan O’Rear, Mittie O’Rear, Barbara Pope; Brother-in-law, Mike McCann.  Survivors include, Husband, Gary Edward McCann; Son, Gary and wife Trellis; Daughter, Lisa McCann; Sisters-in-law, Wanda O’Rear, Wanda Addison, Pat McCann; Brother-in-law, Danny McCann and Marilyn.

DONNIE VEE ALLEN-BREWER
Donnie Vee Allen-Brewer, 74, of Dallas, Texas, died on October 10, 2025, in Dallas, Texas.  Interment will be in Westview Cemetery, Center, Texas.  She was born on December 17, 1950, in Center, Texas to the late Elmo Allen and Johnnie Lee Henry Allen.  Survivors include, Husband, Robert Brewer; Sons, Cory Jordan, Jerrell J Brewer; Daughter, Jenneifer R. Brewer; Sister, Debra Faye Eaden-Hunter (Robert).

MARY RUSSELL HALEY
Mary Russell Haley, 84, died October 11, 2025.  Interment will be in Texas State Cemetery, Austin, Texas.  She was born in 1941 in Lexington, Kentucky.  Her commitment to service extended across many organizations, including the Women’s Symphony League, TCU Alumni Associations, the Senate Ladies Club, the Legislative Ladies Club, the National Council of Teachers of English, the Texas Community College Teachers Association, and the Addison & Randolph Clark Society for TCU. In recognition of her outstanding contributions, Mary was honored with the TCU Alumni Service Award in 2017.  Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; her parents; and her brother.  Survivors include, Son, Jeffrey Russell Haley and his wife Michele Elaine (Genova); Son, Robert Colin Haley and his wife Lisa Marie (Norwood); Sister, Elizabeth Shogren of Harrisburg, Illinois.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Haley Family Fund for Medicine and the Arts at TCU, the Mary Scriven and James W. Haley Endowed Theatre Scholarship at TCU, or the University Christian Church Organ Fund.

 

 

 

 

 

 

PAT DAUGHERTY
Pat Daugherty, 76, of Joaquin, died October 6, 2025. Interment was in Northwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, Keithville, Louisiana.  He was born on May 12, 1949, in Shreveport, Louisiana to Mike and Betty Ann Garrett Daugherty. He served in the United States Air Force.  He was preceded in death by, Wife, Sue Daugherty; Parents; Brother, Billy Daugherty; Sister-in-law, Kay Harvey; Brother-in-law, Thomas Harvey.  Survivors include, Sons; Richard Daugherty and wife Lauren, Russell Daugherty; Sister-in-law, Shery Holmes

Mearline Ratcliff, 68, died September 27, 2025. Interment was in McWilliams Cemetery, Shelbyville, Texas.  She was born on November 09, 1956 to Vance Ratcliff and Eula Windham.  She attended and graduated from Shelbyville ISD School.  She was preceded in death by, Parents; Son, Patrick Rateliff; Four sisters.  Survivors include, Sons, Jason Ratcliff, Aaron Ratcliff (Larisha), Shannon Ratcliff; Brothers, Gregg Ratcliff, Vance Rateiff.
