The descendants of William Robert and Rachel Hicks Pate will hold their 21st Annual Reunion Saturday, October 29th at the First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, Center, Texas, beginning at 10:30AM.  Friends and relatives of the Pate family are invited to attend and bring a covered dish.  Drinks, Bread and Paper good will be furnished.  Please bring any family photos of any family articles that would be of interest.  Don't forget the silent auction table.

   Essie Mae McBride, 90, of Center died October 16, 2005 in Center.  Burial was in Tennessee Cemetery, Timpson.  Born May 5, 1915, in Garrison, she was the daughter of Jack and Ira Honea Clifton.  Mrs. McBride was a homemaker.  Survivors include her husband, Elmer McBride of Timpson; sons, Jack Liles and Jessie Liles both of Gary and Joe Liles of Pinehurst; daughter, Marvin Godwin of Gilmer; sisters, Ethel Owens of Center and Maggie Shafer of Corsicana.   Taylor Funeral Home.
   Charles Ray Bell, 72, of Lufkin, died October 15m 2005, in Lufkin.  Burial was in Strong Cemetery.  Mr. Bell was the son of Arthur and Ruby Cain Bell.  Survivors include sisters, Lois O'Rear and Margaret Kay, both of Shelbyville.   Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
   Anna Muir, 85, of Jericho Community died October 14, 2005 in Shelby County.  Burial was in Mt. Olive Cemetery.  Born March 3, 1920, in Amsterdam, Holland, she was the daughter of Wybrand Crull and Maria Helena Walker Crull.  Mrs. Muir was retired from the City of Houston.  She ws married to Bob Muir, and he preceded her in death.  Survivors include daughters, Dea Link of Center and Dinah Pierce of Timpson; sister, Jo Hinson of Houston.  Wayman Roberts Funeral Home, San Augustine.
   The Rev. Waline L. Mott, 75, of Center died October 17, 2005 in Nacogdoches.  Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park.  Born September 9, 1930, in Zavalla, he was the son of Kerry Wesley and Lillian Simpson Mott.  Rev. Mott was retired from Texas Rehabilitation Commission and married to Honey Mott, and she preceded him in death.  Survivors include son Wailen Mott of Center; daughter, Kayla Wynea of Houston; sister, Wanda Cook of Vidor, Brother, Robert Mott of Bosier City, Louisiana.    Edwin E. Thomason, 92, of Lufkin, died October 14, 2005.   Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park.  Mr. Thomason was born October 8, 1913, in Celina, Texas.  Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Thomason of Lufkin; sons, Windell Thomason of Lufkin and Milton Thomason of Humble.  Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
   Eldon "Mac" McAdam 62, of Center died October 17, 2005.  Burial was in McClelland Cemetery.   Born October 30, 1942, in Poteet, he was the son of Robert Newton McAda and Elizabeth Elmina Cross McAda.  Mr. McAda had been owner of a Barbecue and Steak House,  He was married to Margie McAda, and she preceded him in death.  Survivors include daughters, Rene Mize of Center and Kim Carter of Carthage; brother, Roy McAda of Portland; sisters, Dora Rutherford of Ple3asanton and Ruth Tymrak of Bishop.  Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
   Vicente Tovarm 63, of Tenaha died October 17, 2005 in Center.  Burial was in Restland Cemetery.  Born August 27, 1942, in Acambara, Mexico, he was the son of Lorenzo and Luisa Cornejo Tovar.  Survivors include wife, Delfina Guzman de Tovar of Tenaha; children, Jose Luis Tovar, Jose Joel Tovar, Maria Evanglina, Jose Refugio Tovar, Ramino Tovar, Gustavo Tovar, Vicenter Tovar, Jr, Jose Guadalupe Tovar, Israel Tovar, Delfina Tovar de Rico and Maria Luisa Tovar Tovar de Perales, all of Tenaha, Maria Margarita Tovar de Rico of Joaquin and Maria Angelica Tovar de Sandoval.  Mangum Funeral Home.
   Hersey Belrose Porter, 84, of Center died October 17, 2005.  Burial was in Sardis Cemetery.  Born October 25, 1920, in Shelby County, she was the daughter of Loyd and Cecil Willoughby Belrose.  Survivors include sons, Donny Porter if Deadwood and Joe Porter of Sardis; daughters, Pennie Cassell of Shreveport and Patricia Adams of Center; brothers, J. E. Belrose of Sardis and Roe Belrose of Joaquin; sister, Lorene Belrose of Sardis.   Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
