Descendants of Willis M. and Mary Elizabeth (Pugh) Glaze are meeting on Saturday, November 9, 2002, at Chambers Park in Lufkin, TX.  There will be a large pot luck buffet, so please bring your favorite dish - the meeting will be from around 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Utensils and plates and such provided.    Descendants of Willis and Mary include the descendants of:  Jesse Austin Glaze, Jackson Glaze, Thomas David Glaze, and Leslie Henry Glaze.  All welcome!

EDWARD CHARLES SQUIRES---Edward Squires, 64, of Huxley died October 28, 2002.  Burial was in Powdrill Cemetery. Born October 5, 1938, in Erie, Pennsylvania, he was the son of Edward and Tressie Williams Squires.  Survivors include sons, Eddie Squires of Erie, Pennsylvania and John Squires of Huxley; daughters, Carla Rogers of Bowie, Maryland and Cyndi Squires of Huxley; brothers, Larry Squires of Center, Dick Clark of Erie and Lawrence Clark of Jacksonville, Florida. DENNY BAZER---Denny Bazer, 87, of Center, died October 27, 2002 in Center.  Burial was in Ramah Cemetery.  Born August 3, 1915, he was the son of Dennis Deere and Kate Stiles Bazer.  He is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.  Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
DRUE DALE SCULL---Drue Dale Scull, 82, of Tenaha, died October 26, 2002 in Lufkin.  Burial was in Scull Family Cemetery.  Born January 3, 1920, in Taft, he was the son of Charles Drue and Sarah Estelle Elliott Scull.  Mr. Scull is survived by his wife, Clay Esther Scull of Tenaha; son, John Dale Scull of Tenaha; daughters, Priscilla Jane Hill of Fort Worth and Jodie Annett Wright of Friendswood; sister, Loreece Estelle Ellis of Brownwood.  Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
SALLY EAVES MARTIN---Sally Martin, 89, of Center died October 26, 2002 in San Augustine.  Burial was in Old Salem Cemetery, Shelby County.    Born November 5, 1912, in Shelby County, she was the daughter of Walter and Linnie Estes Eaves.  Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by her husband, John Thomas Martin and son Thomas Larry Martin.  She is survived by her son Walter L. Martin of Dallas; sisters, Velma Sharpton of Center and Christine Honeycutt of Center.  Watson & Sons Funeral Home
ANNIE BEATRICE MENCHUE---Annie Menchue, 94, of Carthage died October 24, 2002 in Carthage.  Burial was in Ramah Cemetery, Shelby County.  Born July 5, 1908 in Arkansas, she was the daughter of Houston Cleveland and Nellie Hussy Needham.   Mrs. Menchue was preceded in death by her brothers Frank Needham and Walter Needham and sister, Mozelle Green.  She is survived by sons, Joe Ogden of Houston, Kenneth Ogden of Bedford and Hershell Menchue, Jr. of Marshall; daughter, Juanita Turner of Silver City, New Mexico: sister, Lois Lee of Lake Jackson.  Hawthorn Funeral Home.
THOMAS B. PARKER---Thomas "Red" Parker, 83, died October 23, 2002 in Longview.  Burial was in Restland Cemtery.  Mr. Parker was born September 1, 1919 in Tenaha.  He was preceded in death by his wife Jean McFadden Parker, one brother and four sisters.  Survivors include son Tom Parker of Longview, Daughter Brooksie Lee of Nacogdoches. 
PATSY ADELE BENNEFIELD---Patsy Bennefield, 80, of Center, died October 29, 2002 in Shelby Regional.  Burial ws in New Hope Cemetery.  Mrs. Bennefield was born December 23, 1921.  She is survived by daughter, Melynda Beth Roberts of Livingston.   Mangum Funeral Home.
ALMA BIGGERS---Alma Biggers, 90, of Pasadena died October 28, 2002.  Burial was in Short Cemetery.   Mrs. Biggers was born April 4, 1912 in Center.  Mrs. Biggers was preceded in death by her daughter Marye Poole.  Survivors include her husband, Jack Biggers; daughter, Nelwyn Hutton. 
DORIS PITTS CARTER---Doris Carter, 72, of Center, died October 17, 2002 in Nacogdoches. Burial was   in St. Johns Cemetery.  Mrs. Carter was born June 5, 1930.  She was preceded in death by her mother Ella Mae Lesley; father, Aaron Pitts.   Survivors include her son Thomas J. Rogers; sisters, evelyn Frank of Houston, Emma J. Johnson, Jereldinepitts, both of Ceter, Mary D. Horneback of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Linda C. Edwards of Kaleen, Texas; brothers, Norris Collins and Jack Collins of Houston.
ANNA THELMA KENNON MUCKELROY---Anna Muckelroy, 91, of Tyler died October 30, 2002.  Burial was in Short Cemetery.  Born April 13, 1911 in Brady Community of Shelby County, she was the daughter of Roby Clifont and Lela Maud Brady Kennon.  Mrs. Muckelroy was preceded in death by her husband Delbert Cecil Muckelroy and sister, Louise Wilbur of Center.   She is survived by son Dr. Kennth Muckelroy of Tyler, Mary Helen Israel of Lake Jackson; sister Maudine Evans.  Mangum Funeral Home.
