The Shelby County Historical Society will hold its monthly meeting November 20, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Shelby County Museum located on Pecan Street. Mr. Larry Hume will be in charge of the program this month.  Everyone is invited to attend.

David Larry Hodges, 63, of Shreveport, Louisiana, died October 27, 2018 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Interment was in Cannon Cemetery, Shelby County. He was born July 1, 1955, in Shelbyville, to Willie Hodges and Marie Cooper Hodges. He was preceded in death by, Parents; Brothers, Johnny Hodges, Waymon Hodges. Survivors include, Wife, Joanne Hodges; Children, Brandi Hodges; Stepchildren, Jessica Choat & husband, Kerry, Michael Collins & wife, Jenny, Tiffany Thompson & husband, Brandon; Brothers, Charles Hodges & wife, Judy, Robert “Sheep Dog” Smith.
