New Stuff/Additions/Corrections

It's hard to keep up with what is going on in Center, but I will give you a couple biggies. 
Shop till you drop in the new Super Wal-Mart - 24 hours.- Hwy 96 and Roughrider Drive/Timpson Street.
A Holiday Inn Express has been completed on Hwy 96 and Express Street, next door (north)  of Wal-Mart.
The Bartle Funeral Home on Hwy 96, has been torn down to make way for a new "Whataburger"
A new McDonald's is located on the property joining Wal-Mart

Obituaries
JOSE JESUS CEJA
    Jose Jesus Ceja, 58, of Center died October 26. 2007 at his residence.  Cremation was requested.  Born August 28, 1949, in Guadalajara, Mexico, he was the son of Miguel and Sara Castillo Ceja.  Mr. Ceja was preceded in death by his parents.  Survivors include Maria Pleasant of Center, Mary Crouch of Hope, Arkansas, Irma Rick of Temecula, California.  Mangum Funeral Home.
DAVID WATTS PRINCE
    David Watts Prince, 67, of Nacogdoches died October 27, 2007 in Nacogdoches.  Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park.  Born March 13, 1940, in Nacogdoches, he was the son of Virgil and Kathryn Prince of Center.  Mr. Prince was active in the Boy Scouts and earned the rank of Eagle Scout and the Silver Award in Explorer Scouts.  He was preceded in death by his parents Virgil and Kathryn Prince.  Survivors include Wife, Marilyn Tutwiler of Nacogdoches; Son, Scott Prince of Houston; Daughter, Kim Schmitt of West Bloomfield, Michigan; Brother Richard Prince of Center.  Watson and Sons Funeral Home.
ALFREDO GONZALEZ
    Alfredo Gonzalez, 55, of Tenaha died October 27, 2007 in Center.  Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park. Born March 8, 1952, in Guanajuato, Mexico, he was the son of Pablo Gonzalez and Eufracia Morales Gonzalez.  Survivors Wife, Herlinda Gonzalez of Tenaha; Daughters, Beatriz Gonzalez of Center, Erika Gonzalez of Tenaha and Emma Gonzalez of Center; Son, Alfredo Gonzales, Jr. of Tenaha; Sisters, Gloria Gonzales and Alicia Gonzalez, both of Center; Brothers, Eugenio Gonzalez and Ramiro Gonzalez, both of Center.  Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
MARGARET R. TAYLOR
    Margaret R. Taylor, 75, of Center died October 29, 2007 in Center.  Burial was in Johnson-Fellowship Cemetery.  Ms. Taylor was born July 22,, 1932, in Pennsylvania.  Survivors include Brother-in-law Wayne Taylor of Joaquin;
W. B. "BUDDY" HARRISON
    W. B. Harrison, 84, died October 30, 2007, in Nacogdoches.  Burial was in Corley-Harrison Cemetery.  Born March 11, 1923, in Tenaha, he was the son of Wiley Braxton Harrison, Sr. and Maude Lee Corley Harrison.  Mr. Harrison was a member of the Sons of the Republic of Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wiley and Maude Harrison; Wife, Marie Womack Harrison; Brother, Rebel Harrison; Sisters, Mabel Yeary and Virginia Parker. Survivors include Wife, Fay Harrison; Daughter, Dixie Lawson of Joaquin and Penny Kosinski of Ocean Ridge, Florida Son, Brack Harrison of Tenaha; Stepsons, William Eddins and John Eddins both of Aiken, Gordon Eddins of Houston; Sister, Winfrey Harrison Swan of Pasadena, Fern Harrison Christensen of Tenaha.  Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
