Burton R. Garmany, age 75, of Houston, died November 1, 2009 at his home. Burial was in Brookland Cemetery, Haslam. He was born May 13, 1934 in Logansport, Louisiana to Ernest L. Garmany and Cecile Brown Garmany. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include, Brother, William Garmany of Houston; Sister, Janice Bane of Houston; Cousin, Burton Brown of Center; Aunt, Louise Brown of Center.

David Blair DeTar, 80, of Shelbyville, Texas, died November 2, 2009. Burial will be in Lorton Cemetery, Cowden, Illinois. Mr. DeTar was born July 16, 1929 in Bristol, Oklahoma to Harold and Ruth Crawford DeTar. He is preceded in death by, Parents; Brother, George DeTar. Eddie Lamar Williford, 58, of Nacogdoches, died October 27, 2009, in Nacogdoches. The family will hold a memorial service at a later date. Eddie was born May 21, 1951, in Center, Texas, to Chester P. Williford and Angie L. Davis Jones. He served his country in the U. S. Army in Europe. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include, Sister, Sue Evans & husband, Calvin, of Nacogdoches; Brother, Curtis P. Williford & wife, Sue of Bastrop.

Guy Wimberly Hicks, age 72, of Joaquin, died November 3, 2009 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Burial will be in Joaquin Cemetery, Joaquin. He was born October 1, 1937 in Castor, Louisiana to James Howard Hicks and Frances Elizabeth Thomas Hicks. Mr. Hicks served his country in the Navy. He was retired from Barksdale Air Force Base in Shreveport. He was preceded in death by, Parents; Brothers, James Howard Hicks, Jr., Edwin Martin Hicks. Survivors include, Wife, Martha Cockrell Hicks of Joaquin; Daughter, Charmian Hicks of Joaquin.

Kenneth Wayne Clevenger, age 60, of Joaquin, died November 2, 2009 in Carthage. A memorial service will be held later. He was born February 9, 1949 in Vidor to James Kenneth Clevenger and Opaline Smith Clevenger. He was preceded in death by his father.
