DORIS OATES GUNTER
    Doris Oates Gunter, 82, of Joaquin died November 5, 2007 in Center. Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park. Born October 1, 1925 in Center, she was the daughter of E. C. Oates and Geneva Spurlock Oates.  Ms. Gunter was preceded in death by her Parents, E. C.  Geneva Oates; Husband Harold Gunter; Son Larry Durham; Sisters Euthalia McCann, Alpha Holcomb, Etheline McMahon, Monie Martin, Jane Pridgen and Melba Henderson. Watson and Sons Funeral Home.
BILLY DON ROSS
    Billy Don Ross, 61, of Center died November 6, 2007 at his residence.  Burial was in Old Center Cemetery, Panola County.  Born March 26, 1946, in Martinsville, he was the son of Otis Ross and Ruth Barron Ross.  Survivors include, Wife, Barbara Dean Ross; Daughter, Michelle Linstead of Center; Son, Eric Lane of Winfield Louisiana; Sister, Elaine Ross of Vidor; Brothers, Reed Ross of Longview; Glen Ross of Center.  Watson and Sons Funeral Home.
BILLY JOE WATSON
    Billy Joe Watson, 74, of Tenaha, died November 7, 2007 in Center.  Burial was in Old Home Cemetery.  Born January 9, 1933, in Tenaha, he was the son of Jasper Watson and Lizzie Mae Patterson Watson.  Mr. Watson was preceded in death by Parents, Jasper and Lizzie Mae Watson; Brothers Dewey Watson and George Watson; Sister, Burnette Boyer.  Survivors include Wife, Delores S. Watson of Tenaha; Sons, Billy Joe Watson, Jr. and John Watson, both of Tenaha; Daughters, Donna Rackley of Corpus Christi, Texas, Connie Burnett of Conroe; Brothers, Osborn Watson of Huntington and C. W. "Jack" Watson of Tenaha; Sisters, Claudia Ray Watson Hairgrove of Tyler and Bobbie Ruth Watson Veatch of Shreveport, Louisiana. 
JOHN SPRATLEY
    John Spratley, 87, of Joaquin died November 8, 2007 in Nacogdoches.  Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park.  Born January 28, 1920, in Van Buren, Missouri, he was the son of John Harvey Spratley and Bidey Jane Middleton Spratley.  Mr. Spratley was preceded in death by 3 Sisters and four Brothers.  Survivors include Wife, Josephine Spratley of Joaquin; Daughters, Darnell Henson of Hallsville, Beverly Spratley, of Joaquin, Donna Brown of Ozarka, Arkansas, Leona Bryson Spratley of Longview; Sister, Audrey White of Phoenix, Arizona; Brothers Lowell Spratley of Dallas and Huey Spratley of San Diego, California.  Watson and Sons Funeral Home.
GLENDA BRIGHT CORDOVA
    Glenda Bright Cordova, 60, of Magnolia died November 7, 2007 in Tomboll.  Burial was in Campti Cemetery, Shelby County.  Born November 18, 1946, in Center, she was the daughter of Roy Bright and Essie Callender.  Ms. Cordova was preceded in death by husband, Lawrence Cordova; Parents Roy and Essie Callender  and Brother, Earl Bright.  Survivors include, Daughters, Jana Bellard of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Julie Vaughn of Magnola and Janice Whitten of Grand Cane, Louisiana; Sister, Billie Holt of Center; Brother, Robert Bright of Center. KENNETH RAY BAKER
    Kenneth Ray Baker, 71, of Center died November 5, 2007 at his residence.  Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park.  Born November 11, 1935 in Joaquin, he was the son of Ernest Osward Baker and Maudie Mae Moody Baker.  Mr. Baker was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Maudie Baker; Brother, Donald Baker.  Survivors include Wife, Virginia Baker; Daughters, Rhonda Brown of Center and Mitzi Windham of Joaquin; Son, Barry Baker of Tenaha; Sister, Judy Agnew of Tenaha.
