MELVIE BALLARD
    Melvie Ballard, 64, of Nacogdoches, formerly of Tenaha died November 2, 2006.  Burial was in Restland Cemetery, Tenaha.  Born July 32, 1942, she was the daughter of Duley and Gladys Spurlock Manshack.  Mrs. Ballard was preceded in death by her parents; Husband, Bruce Ballard and Brother, Thomas Manshack.  Survivors include son Craig Ballard of Ft. Knox, Kentucky; daughters; Deanna Lazarine, and  LaDonna Ballard, both of Nacogdoches; Sisters, Faye McCormick of Carthage, Margaret Keener of Rodessa, Louisiana Viola Martinez of Bon Wier, Ipal Hunt of Carthage, Maxine Strickland of Lockney, Dorothy Neff of Floydaga.  Mangum Funeral Home.
CLIFFORD F. LYKKE, SR.
    Clifford F. Lykke, Sr. died November 4, 2006.  Burial was in Todd Cemetery, Rusk County.  Born February 12, 1917, in Danevang, he was employed with Southern RR, as an Engineer.  Survivors include wife Lavina; sons, Clifford Lykke, Jr. Taylor Funeral Home.
JANE PRICE
    Jane Price, 66, of Center died November 3, 2006.  Burial was in Morgan Cemetery, Morgan.  Born May 31, 1940, in Bossque County, she was the daughter of Leslie T. and Zola Mae McKown Webb.  Mrs. Price was preceded in death by daughter, Lisa Mitchell.  Survivors include James Ray Price of Center; Son, Leslie Ratliff of Clifton; brothers, Billy Webb of Morgan and Johnny Webb of Utopia, Thermon Webb of Morgan; Sister, Jeannie Davidson of Irving; Stepdaughters, Tina Fregia of LaPorte and Donna McOmber of LaPorte.  Mangum Funeral Home.
DONALD S. MCGUFFIN, SR.
    Donald S. McGuffin, Sr. 79, of Center died November 4, 2006.  Burial was in Woods Post Office Cemetery, in Tenaha.  Born January 12, 1927, he was the son of Martin Luther and Lottie Burris McGuffin.  Mr. McGuffin was a Veteran of WWII, having served in U.S. Nancy.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Joye McGuffin and Parents.  Survivors include son, Don, McGuffin of Carthage; brother, Lyle McGuffin of Kerrville, Mangum Funeral Home.
MATTIE MAE RICHARDSON
    Mattie Mae Richardson, 72, of Joaquin died November 3, 2006.  Cremation was requested.  Born December 3, 1933, in Hampton, Arkansas, she was the daughter of Johnny Neal Smalley and Daisy Maud Allen Smalley.  Mrs. Richardson was a retired Beautician.  Survivors include husband, Johnny Ray Richardson of Joaquin; daughters, Vickie Faulkner and Theresa Gail Beard of Camden, Arkansas, Johnny Virginia Sharp of Joaquin; brother, Jack Smalley of Ingleside; sister, Charlotte Bramblett of Vicksburg, Mississippi.  Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
RONNIE WAGSTAFF
    Ronnie Wagstaff, 56, of Elkhart formerly of Center died November 5, 2006.  Military Graveside Services was at Oakland Memorial Park.  Born September9, 1950, in Center, he was the son of Austin Oran Wagstaff and Melva Jean Sanders Wagstaff.  Mr. Wagstaff was a veteran, having served in Viet Nam.  He was preceded in death by his father, Austin Wagstaff.  Survivors include wife Janet Wagstaff of Elkhart; sons, Jay Austin Wagstaff of Elkhart and Ronnie Oran Wagstaff of Lake Charles; daughter, Cheryl Dareden of Elkhart; mother, Jean Wagstaff of Center; sister, Peggy Dowey of Tyler. Mangum Funeral Home.
VELMA LEE CARTWRIGHT
    Velma Lee Cartwright, 89, of Shelbyville, died October 20, 2006.  Burial was in St. John Cemetery.  Born September 23, 1917, she was the daughter of Elbert Kirksey and Mary Magelin.  Mrs. Cartwright was preceded in death by her husband, Gillie Cartwright; children, Jerlene Wilson, Johnny Ray Cartwright and Raymond Earl Cartwright; three brothers and 3 sisters.  Survivors include daughters, Mary Thompson, Emma Jordan and Margie Garrett, all of Shelbyville and Clifton Earl Cartwright of Tenaha; sister, Clemontine Leslie of Houston.  Community Funeral Home.
JAMES L. GRAY
    James L. Gray, 85, of Timpson, died October 25, 2006.  Burial was in Smyrna Cemetery.  Born April 13, 1921, he was the son of Lizzy Mosley Gray and Jim L. Gray of Camptown.   Mr. Gray was preceded in death by his wife, Marian Earl Gray; four sons; one Daughter; and five Brothers.  Survivors include sons, Earnest Mims Gray, of Ft. Worth, Artis Earl of Ft. Worth; Alvin Earl of Houston, Jennings Earl of Antoinette, of Houston, Steve Earl of Houston and John Earl, of Center; Daughters, Alma of Midland of Houston; sisters, Ceter Bell Kellum, Vernell Williams, Voncil Hunt, Virginia Anderson and Yvonne Thompson.  Community Funeral Home.
RUBY NELL JOHNSON
    Ruby Nell Johnson, 50, of Timpson, died October 27, 2006. Born January 26, 1956, in Stockman, she was the daughter of Roy Johnson.  Mrs. Johnson was survived by husband, A. G. Johnson; daughter, LaShunda Johnson of Timpson; son, Armand of Timpson; Mother, Katherine Johnson of Garrison; brothers, Billy R. Bryant of Nacogdoches, Curtis Johnson of Garrison, Clifford Johnson of Garrison; sisters, Lizzie Mae Ody of Pasadena, Judy Terry of Tyler.
