RONNIE FIELDS
Ronnie Fields, 67, died August 10, 2022, in Beaumont, Texas.  Interment was in Sardis Cemetery, Shelby County.  He was born on August 26, 1954 to Elbert Lorenzo Fields and Ruby Maxine (Dot) McSwain Fields. He was preceded in death by, Parents; Brother, Bennie Gene Fields.  Survivors include, Wife, Cindy Hebert Fields; Son, Adam Fields & wife, Sidney, of Vidor.

JESSIE MAE GARRETT
Jessie Mae Garrett, 79, of Center, died October 31, 2022 at her home in Center. Interment was in Westview Cemetery, Center, Texas.  She was born on November 24, 1943 to the union of Eddie Lee and Christy Bell McCain in Shreveport, Louisiana.  She graduated in 1961 from C.H. Daniels.  She was preceded in death by, Father, Eddie Lee McCain; Mother, Christy Bell McCain; Former husband, Joe Mitchell Garrett; Guardian son, Lonnie Ray Stewart.  Survivors include, Sons, Howard Garrett Sr. (Ethel) of McClain, Mississippi, Randy G. Garrett of Austin, Michael Garrett of Center; Daughter, Kalisa Garrett of Center.
Services entrusted to Community Funeral Home of Center, Texas.

LYN LOGAN
Lyn Logan, 80, died November 2, 2022.  She was originally from Long Island, NY. She  was preceded in death by, Husband, Harry Logan; Parents, Chester and Carolyn Lawrence.  Survivors include, Sons, Jeffery Abinette & wife Lisa, Timothy Abinette & wife Carol, Christopher Logan & wife Annette; Daughter, Amy Logan-Ditolla & husband Clyde; Brother, Ricky Lawrence; Sister, Katherine Lawrence.

GEORGE RICHARD CLARK, SR.
George Richard Clark Sr. (Dick), 74, of Center, Texas, died November 2, 2022, in Nacogdoches, Texas.  He was born on December 12, 1948, in Mojave, California, to  James Clark and Mavis Clark.  As per his wishes he will be cremated and a private family graveside service will be held at a later date.  He was preceded in death by, Wife, Janet Clark; Daughter, Penny Clark; Parents; Brothers, Mike Clark, Chuck Clark.  Survivors include, Sons, Scooter Clark & wife Stacie of Center, Chris Clark & wife Sena of Timpson; Brothers, Pat Clark, Jim Clark; Sisters, Anita Griffin, Barbara Mye.

JACK CARTER CHRISTIAN
Jack Carter Christian, 92, of Tenaha, Texas, died November 4, 2022, in Tyler, Texas.  Interment was in Buena Vista Cemetery, Shelby County.  He was born on November 25, 1929, in Tenaha, Texas, to Joseph and Irene (Brown) Christian.  Jack was born and raised in Tenaha. He graduated from Tenaha High School and then went on to SFA to achieve a bachelor’s degree in education. Jack spent 2 years in the U. S. Army. He taught school for a while and then went on to be the Postmaster for Tenaha for 38 years.  He was preceded in death by, Parents; 3 Brothers.  Survivors include, Wife, Bettie (Hairgrove) Christian; Daughter, Angela Whitton & husband Josh.

GARY SNIDER
Gary Snider, 62, of Center, died November 7, 2022, in Nacogdoches.  Interment was in New Hope Cemetery, Shelby County.  He was born September 30, 1960 in Converse, Louisiana to Jesse James Snider and Verna Lou Moore Snider.  He was preceded in death by, Parents; Brothers, Butch Snider, Jerry Snider.  Survivors include, Daughter, Jessica Atchison & husband Daniel, of Center; Fiancée, Elizabeth Townes of Center; Brothers, Billy Snider & wife Debbie of Center, Travis Snider of Center; Sisters, Norma Moore of Segno, Texas, Sandra Harvey of Montana.

JIMMY NORRIS NIX, SR.
Jimmy Norris Nix, Sr., 86, of Timpson, Texas, died November 5, 2022, in Tyler, Texas. Interment was in Shiloh Cemetery, Mt. Enterprise, Texas.  He was born on August 31, 1936, in Jumbo Community in Panola County, Texas, to Alva and Macy Marie (Hudman) Nix.  He was preceded in death by, Wife, Jerry M. Nix; Parents; Son, Jonathan Nix; Brother, Charles Nix.  Survivors include, Daughter, Sharon Bridges; Son, Jimmy Nix, Jr. & wife, Lucy; Sisters, Ima Wikoff & husband, Melvin, Betty Curbow & husband, Leondred, Brenda Harris & husband, Jackie, Janice Travis.

Dennis Hollowell, of Shelbyville, died October 29, 2022, peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones.  He was born in Ringgold, Louisiana to Florence Godfrey Hollowell and Glen “Goggy” Hollowell. MICHAEL WAYNE KINDRED
Michael Wayne Kindred, 70, of Joaquin, Texas, died October 29, 2022, in Center, Texas. He was born on November 25, 1951, in Davenport, Iowa, to Earl Raymond Kindred and Edna Bel Wright.  Graveside service will be held at a late date. Michael graduated high school and joined the United States Army.
