    Betty Sue Mikesh, age 67, of Joaquin died November 8, 2008, in Nacogdoches. Burial was in Old Home Cemetery, Shelby County. Preceded in death by, Husband, Raymond Mikesh, Sr.; Daughter, Janice Elizabeth Mikesh. O. K. "BUDDY" HAGLER
    O.K. “Buddy” Hagler, 76, of Center, died November 6, 2008 at his home. Burial was in Antioch Cemetery, San Augustine. He was born May 17, 1932 in Shelby County to Joe Oliver Hagler and Emma Mae Askew Hagler. He had once served as Justice of the Peace of Precinct 2 in Shelby County and Commissioner for Precinct 2. Buddy was a member of the Sam Houston Masonic Lodge #32 and the Sharon Temple Shrine. Preceded in death by, Parents; Son, Kenneth Alan Hagler; Sister, Berniece Eubanks. Survivors include, Wife, Sue Hagler of Center; Son, Larry Hagler of Longview; Daughters, Ginger Isch of Rosharon, Tina Vaughn of Center; Brothers; James “Flip” Hagler of Shelbyville, Jack Hagler of Center; Sister, Bunchie Ross of Center.

MAXIE ZIESEMER
    Maxie Ziesemer, 88, of Houston, formerly of Center, died November 7, 2008. Burial was in Short Cemetery, Shelby County. She was born March 21, 1920 to Amos and Lettie Mills Hughes. Preceded in death by her Parents; Husband, Herbert Ziesemer; Son, Tony Lee Ziesemer. Survivors include, Brother, R.O. Hughes of Livingston.

    Odell Armstreet, age 100, of Gary, formerly of Shelbyville, died November 8, 2008. Burial was in Strong Cemetery, Shelby County. She was born April 12, 1908 to Willie and Lura Wilburn.
