Etta “Peggy” Montez (Gibbs) Adams, 82, of Timpson, died November 18, 2008 in Lufkin. Burial was in Union Cemetery, Shelby County. She was born January 23, 1926 in Gary, Texas to George K. Joe Umbrell, 76, of Tenaha, died November 18, 2008. Memorial Service will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday November 23, 2008 at Paxton United Methodist Church in Tenaha. He was born January 3, 1932 to Guy and Crea Emory Umbrell. He was a Sgt. in the Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict and he received the Purple Heart Award. Preceded in death by his Parents; Sisters, Dorothy Gordon, Janet Heisey; Brothers, Robert Unbrell, William Umbrell.
