I am looking for families who married in to the Griffith family:    James "Ellen" Griffith (born about 1863) married John Euwin Belsha born 1846
Leviney Griffith born 1865 married L. D. Carpenter.   Sarah Griffith born about 1868 married James M. Passmore born 1866
Susan Griffith about 1871 married ? 
The above four are the children of James and Nancy Griffith.
James was the son of James (born 1800)  and Susanna (Rowe) Griffith (born 1804).  
Their other children were:
Joseph Griffith born 1827 married Martha Watkins.
Laviny Griffith born 1840 married ?

   Corine Fenley Bradshaw, 73, of Center died November 19, 2004, in Houston.  Burial was in Old Salem Cemetery.  Born September 24, 1931, in Center, she was the daughter of Rev. T. N. and Ada Elind Fenley.  Mrs. Fenley was a homemaker.  Survivors include husband, J. T. Bradshaw of Center; daughter, Rhonda Culpepper of Houston; sons, Rocky Bradshaw of Houston and Randall Bradshaw of Conroe; sisters, Pauline Bradshaw of Center and Bettie Mitchell of Lufkin.  Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
   Dorothy Jean Paxton, 81, of Joaquin died November 17, 2004 in Center.  Burial was in Smith Cemetery.  Born May 21, 1923, in Wemple, Louisiana, she was the daughter of William Alford and Lenora Matthews Burns. Mrs. Paxton was a homemaker.  She was married to Troy Paxton, and he preceded her in death.  Survivors include sons, Robert Williford of Joaquin and Lewis Williford of Porter; step-daughters, Annette Danford of Dallas, Jeannette Bright of Center and Debra Hanson of Houston; brother, Chester C. Burns, Sr. of the Shiloh Community; sister, Gladys Moore of Stringtown, Oklahoma.  Mangum Funeral Home.
   Joe G. Campbell, 81, of Shelby County died November 18, 2004, in Nacogdoches.  Burial was in McClelland Cemetery.  born May 27, 1923, in Shelby County, he was the son of Dock R. and Ena Chandler Campbell.  He had been employed with Center ISD, Farmers State Bank, and was a Army veteran of WWII.  Survivors include his wife, Martha Ann Campbell of Center; Stepchildren, Rebecca Huff of Germany and David Andrew Huff of Gladewater.  Mangum Funeral Home.
   Joe H. Chandler, 80, of Center died November 21, 2004, in Center.  Burial was in Powdrill Cemetery.  Born March 27, 1924, in Nacogdoches County, he was the son of Edsel and Hattie Chandler.  Mr. Chandler served in the U.S. Army during World War II.  He was preceded in death by his wife. Ruby Chandler.  Survivors include son, Mark Chandler of Center; daughter, Judy Wagstaff of Monroe, Louisiana; brother Bobby Chandler of San Augustine; sisters, Maudell Chandler of San Augustine. Sybil Sykes of Port Neches and Shirley B. Adams of Center.  Mangum Funeral Home.
   Martin Edward Brittain, 67, died November 20, 2004.  Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park.  Born January 10, 1937, in Center, he was the son of Eula Mae and George Jewel Brittain.  Mr. Brittain was preceded in death by his parents Eula Mae and George Jewel Brittain.  Survivors include his wife, Letitia Brittain, daughters Rachel Smith, Stephanie Moore; brother George Jewel Brittain, Jr.  Restland Funeral Home, Dallas.
   Joe William Deaton, 61, of Waskom died November 13, 2004, in Shreveport, Louisiana.  Burial as in Oaklawn Memorial Park.  Born January 16, 1943, ion Laurinburg, North Carolina, he was the son of Charlie Taylor Deaton and Lottie Lillian Langley Deaton.  Mr. Deaton was retired from
General Electric.  He was preceded in death by his father Charlie Taylor Deaton.  Survivors include his daughters, Tracy Rushton of Waskom and Nicole McSwain of Center; mother Lottie Deaton of Center; sisters, Joyce of Center and Laura Ann Parker of Spring.  Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
   Eula Bell Goings, 95, of Shelbyville died November 23, 2004, in Center.  Burial was in Rather Cemetery.  Born September 12, 1909, in Shelby County, she was the daughter of Marvin and May Bell Barlow Campbell.  Mrs. Goings was a Homemaker.  She was married to L. F. Goings, and he preceded her in death.  Survivors include son, Cecil Goings of Shelbyville; sisters, Pastell Biggar of Center and Blanche Bailey of Vernon.  Mangum Funeral Home.
   Janette Byrd, 78, of Center died November 24, 2004, at her residence.  Burial was in Old Salem Cemetery.  Born January 6, 1926, in Ruston, Louisiana, she was the daughter of Raymond Colvin and Angie Spencer Colvin.  Survivors include daughters, Martha Smith of Many, Louisiana, Debora Sowell of Shelbyville, Donna McSwain and Barbara Hardings, both of Center; sons, Charles Moore and Carl Moore, both of Center, David Moore of Oakwood and Donald Ray Moore of Shelbyville; sister, Barbara Johnson of Ruston, Louisiana; brother, John Colvin of Ruston, Louisiana.  Watson & Sons Funeral Home
   Jo Ann Eaton, 63, of Longview died November 23, 2004 in Longview.  Burial was in Timpson Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.  Born June 18, 1941, in West Monroe, Louisiana, she was the daughter of Lovis and Minnie Dee Ramsey Bowlin.  She was a retired business owner.  Survivors include mother, Minnie Dee Smith of Tenaha; daughter, Shelia Crawford of Longview; brother, Jimmy Bowlin of East Bernard; step-brother Ron Smith of Longview; step-sister, Hershey Cox of Colorado Springs, Colorado.  Taylor Funeral Home
