VIRGINIA "GENNY" DAUGHTERY
    Virginia Daughtery, 60, of Douglas, died November 22, 2007 at her residence.  Burial was in Jackson Cemetery, Shelby County.  Born February 12, 1947, in Shelby County, she was the daughter of Eugene and Lelia Elvie Askew Jones.  Ms. Daughtery, was preceded in death by her Parents, Eugene and Lela Jones and Husband James Daughtery.  Survivors include, Children, Theresa Miles of Douglas, James Daughtery of Woden , Lisa Key of Kingtown, Joe Daughtery of Woden, Dennis Daughtery of Etoile; Brothers, Elbert Jones of Carthage and Jimmy Jones of Center; Sisters, Daisy Jones of Center and Lou Ann Peeler of Silsbee.  Mangum Funeral Home.
JOHN P. SMITH
   John P. Smith, 73, of Tenaha died November 21, 2007 in Nacogdoches.  Burial was in Restland Cemetery, Tenaha.  Born September 16, 1935, he was the son of Albert and Era Haley Smith.  Mr. Smith was preceded in death by her is Parents Alberta and Era Smith; Son, Bobby Smith and Sisters, Edna Baker and Laverne Ballard.  Survivors include his wife Nellie Jean Conway Smith of Tenaha; Children, Barbara Spinks of Livingston, Texas, Paul Smith of Tennessee Colony, Texas and Patsy Smith of Logansport.  Mangum Funeral Home.
CHRISTINE WALLER
    Christine Waller, 78, of Center died November 23, 2007 in Center.  Burial was in Neuville Cemetery.  Born December 23, 1928, in Shelby County, she was the daughter of Caywood and Lona Bailey.  Ms. Waller was preceded in death by Parents Caywood and Lona Bailey; Husband, Sid Waller; Sisters, Jettie Andrews and Rosene Andrews; Brothers, Dick Herman and George Bailey.  Survivors include, Daughter Lona Risinger of Orange; Sons, Bobby Waller and Lemech Waller, both of Center; Sister, Ethel Glee of Center; Brothers, Billy Earl Bailey and James Thomas Bailey, both of Center.  Mangum Funeral Home.
RAYMOND "JACK" FULLER
    Raymond  "Jack" Fuller, 74, of Center died November 24, 2007
Burial was in Sardis Cemetery.  Born May 25, 1933, he was the son of Johnny and Sarah Martha Miller Fuller.  Mr. Fuller owned and operated Fuller Tree Services.  He was a veteran of the US Army.  He was preceded in death by his Parents Johnny and Sarah Fuller; Wife Alice Graham Fuller; Brother, Darwin Lawson Fuller and Sister, Mary Smith.  Survivors include Sons, Johnny Fuller, Sr. of Center, Jimmy Nash of Timpson; Daughters, Darlene Porter and Charlene Channel, both of Center; Sister, Shannon Dayton of Trinity.  Mangum Funeral Home.
BERTIE MAE STANLEY
    Bertie Mae Stanley, 104, died November 26, 2007 in San Augustine.  Burial was in Spann's Chapel Cemetery.  Born May 10, 1903, in DeQuincy, Louisiana, she was the daughter of James McBride and Martha Simmons McBride.  Ms. Stanley was preceded in death by Husband, Ira "Dock" Stanley; Daughter, Dorothy Stanley Conway Foster.  Ms. Stanley is survived by Daughter, Marie Long of Center; Son, Bobby Stanley of Center; Sister, Maud Bucklew of San Augustine
LOIS ALLISON RENFRO
    Lois Allison Renfro, 90, of Longview died November 27, 2007 in Longview.  Burial was in Waterman Cemetery, Shelby County.  Born September 19, 1917, in Waterman Community, she was the daughter of George W. Lizzie Abbott Allison.  Ms. Renfro was employed at Shelby General Hospital, Center.  She was preceded in death by her Parents, and Husband, Marshall Renfro.  Survivors include Son Johnny Renfro of Center; Daughter, Marcia Kesterson of Longview.  Taylor Funeral Home.
CLINTON CLAYBROOK SHIRLEY
    Clinton Claybrook Shirley, 88, of Dickinson, Texas, died November 26, 2007 at his residence.  Burial was in Wimberly-Rayburn Cemetery, Shelby County.  Born January 18, 1919, in Sweetville, Louisiana, He was the son of Joseph Jackson and Ethel May Shirley.  Survivors include Son Allen Shirley of Dickinson, Texas; Daughters, Camilla Pierce and Diane Stafford-Munos.  Mangum Funeral Home.
MARARETTE MCCARY
    Margarette, McCary, 93, died November 23, 2007, in Center.  Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery.  Born April 8, 11914, in Orlando, Florida, she was the daughter of Henry and Ruby Lee Johns Tyner.  Ms. McCary was preceded in death by her husband Billy McCary.  Survivors include daughter, Sue Emanis of Center; Son, Lewis Williams of Sebring, Florida.  Watson and Sons Funeral Home.
EVA JOY BAKER
    Eva Joy Baker, 84, died November 27, 2007, in Texas City, Texas.  Burial was in McClelland Cemetery, Shelby County. She was born October 21, 1923, in Neuville, Texas.  Ms. Baker was preceded in death by husband Robie Baker.  Survivors include Sons, Dan Baker and Robie Kenneth Baker.  Mangum Funeral Home.
BETTY SPANN NEWTON
    Betty Spann Newton, 80 of Center died November 27, 2007 in Center.  Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park. Born February 22, 1927, in Shelby County, she was the daughter of William and Marion Screws Spann.  Ms. Newton was retired from Stanco Industries.  She was preceded in death by her Parents, Jack and Marion Spann; Sons, Jerry Bob and Glenn Bailey; Sister, Laverne Spann; Brother, Pete Spann.  Survivors include Daughter, Wanda Bailey Fleming of Center; Brother, Charles Spann of Center; Sister, Glenda Bennett of Center.  Mangum Funeral Home.
KATIE DIAN VAUGHN
    Katie Dian Vaughn, 31, of Huxley died November 28, 2007 at her residence.  Burial was in Permenter Cemetery, Huxley.  Born January 12, 1976, in Shreveport, Louisiana, she was the daughter of Larry Douglas Vaughn and Dian Lee Vaughn.   Suviviors include Son, Chase Vaughn of Huxley; Parents, Larry and Dian Vaughn of Huxley; Brothers, Doug Vaughn and Dale Vaughn, both of Huxley; Sisters, Trace Anderson of Carthage.  Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
MAHON "RED" GRAVES
    Mahon Graves, 73, of Tenaha died November 28, 2007 in Houston.  Burial was in New Hope Cemetery, Shelby County.  Born September 26, 1934, in Timpson, he was the son of Mahon Graves, Sr. and Ella Borders Graves.  Mr. Graves was preceded in death by his Parents, Mahon and Ella Graves; Sister, Mary Ross, Marie Hopson and Joyce Gatton; Brother, Buster Graves.  Survivors include Wife, Mary Graves of Tenaha; Sons, Bob Graves of Joaquin, Joseph Graves of Tenaha, James Michael Decker of Houston;  Daughters, Jackie Lovejoy of Rio Vista, Brenda Whittlesey of Center, Kendra Arnold of Tenaha.  Watson and Sons Funeral Home.
