Emma Lurette Ramsey Mitchell, 98, died November 25, 2009. She was born in San Augustine, Texas on January 30, 1911 to Judge W. C. and Emma Jenkins Ramsey. She is preceded in death by, Husband, L.B. (Rudy) Mitchell; Son, Judge John W. Mitchell; Brothers, William, Thomas, Smith, Ben, George Ramsey; Sisters, Addie Laura Ramsey, Mary Belle Ramsey Ledford, Letitia Ramsey Stine. Survivors include, Son, Charles Mitchell & wife Barbara; Daughter-in-law, Lucy Mitchell.

PAUL SAMFORD
Paul Samford, age 88, of Carthage, Texas, died November 15, 2009 in Pensacola, Florida. A memorial service will be held December 5, 2009. Burial will follow at a later date in the V.A. Cemetery in San Antonio. He was born on November 27, 1920, in Tenaha, Texas, to William and Euna Samford. Mr. Samford served his country in the United States Air Force attaining the rank of CMSgt. He was preceded in death by, Parents; Twin Sister, Pauline Needham; Brothers, Van Samford, Harry Samford. Survivors include, Daughters, Paula Laritz of Pensacola, Debra Duke & husband J.E. of Carthage; Brother, Archie Morris Samford of Carthage.

FRANK LEONARD SUMMERS
Frank Leonard Summers, 90, of Timpson, died November 26, 2009 in Garrison. Burial was in Woodlawn Heights Cemetery, Mt. Enterprise, Texas. He was born July 4, 1919 in Hamburg, Arkansas to Earl Willis and Blance McMillian Summers. He was preceded in death by, Parents; Son, Earl Eugene Summers; Brother, Maurice Summers; Sister, Edith Thomas. Survivors include, Wife, Helen Blanche Summers of Timpson; Sons, Jerry Summers & wife Cindy of Timpson, Dale Summers & wife Cass of Henderson, TX; Sisters, Earlene, Leone.

JOE JIM BALDWIN
Joe Jim Baldwin, 84 of Huxley, died November 27, 2009 in Nacogdoches. Burial was in Woods Cemetery. He was born December 27, 1924 in Panola County, Texas to Jep Baldwin and Bennie Harvilla Graves Baldwin. Mr. Baldwin served in the United States Army during the World War II and the Korean conflict. He was preceded in death by, Parents; Wife, Novie Jean Baldwin; Brother, Ben Baldwin.
