    Aubrey Maurice Beckham, 89, of Joaquin, died, November 28, 2008. Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park, Center. He was born January 20, 1919 in Center to William Stewart Beckham and Jenice Cook Beckham. He served as a T. Sgt. in the Army Air Corps during World War II and served in Africa and Italy where he was awarded GC, Bronze Star, EAME, 12 Battle Stars, Pres. Citation, and 1 OLC Ribbon. Preceded in death by, Parents; Wife, Alice F. Lindsey Beckham; Three Sisters; Three Brothers. Survivors include, Wife, Margie Barnett Beckham; Sons, Aubrey Lloyd Beckham, Edward Lynn Beckham; Daughters; Elizabeth Ann Beckham Hurst, Janet Alice Beckham Stewart.

    Kenneth McGough, 70, of Shelbyville, died, November 26, 2008 in Center. He was born August 23, 1938 in Norphlet, Arkansas to Thomas Earl McGough and Maggie Wooten McGough. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at Huxley Bay Marina.

    Marvye “Lucy” Goodson Leggett, 74, of Shelbyville, died, November 30, 2008 at her home. Burial will be in Carroll Cemetery, Shelby County. She was born August 26, 1934 in Shelby County to Robert Cliff Goodson and Wilma Jane Yates Goodson. Survivors include, Husband, A.L. Leggett, Jr. of Shelbyville; Sons, Paul David Leggett of Houston, Matthew Wayne Leggett of Houston, Timothy Jon Leggett of Houston; Foster Daughter, Melinda Kay Buebe of Bowie, Maryland; Cousins, Billy Hutto of Huxley, Charles Ray Yates of Carrollton, Billie M.
