Born June 9, 1954, in Pasadena, Texas, he was the son of Laddie and Sue Bradberry Derr. Survivors include his wife, Beth Derr of Center; sons, Jeff Derr, John Derr and Christopher Derr, all of Center; mother, Sue Derr of Center; Sisters, Linda Reichert of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; and brothers, Randy Derr of Pearland and Robbie Derr of Pasadena.
