CHARLES HENRY HINTON
Charles Henry Hinton, 87, of Center, died December 4, 2013 at his residence. Interment was in Shelbyville Cemetery. He was born October 13, 1926 in Shelby County, Texas to Henry and Annie Brady Hinton. He served his country in the U. S. Marine as a corporal and participated in action against the Japanese in Okinawa. He was wounded in Okinawa and received the Purple Heart Award. He was preceded in death by, Parents; Wife, Billie Holt; Infant Son, Bobby Hinton; Son, Hugh Hinton. Survivors include, Wife, Thelma Hinton of Center; Sons, Larry Hinton of Center, Brad Hinton & wife, Dena of Center; Sister, Alice Hall of Center; Daughter-in-law, Debra Hinton of Ohio; Sister-in-law & Brother-in-law, Pauline & Harold Oates.

JAMES H. DUNCAN
James H. Duncan, 82, of Columbus, Mississippi, formerly of Jasper and Shelby County, died December 5, 2013 at his residence. Military Graveside Service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Duncan Cemetery in Shelbyville. He was born January 7, 1931 in Shelby County to William H. and Sally McMahon Duncan. He retired from the U. S. Army after 20 years of service. He was preceded in death by, Parents; Sisters, Syble Shue, Avis German Chapman, Edna Golden, Ruth Minchew, Freddie Lee Nowell, Arlene Smith; Brothers, Edelvis Duncan, Ernest Duncan, Carlton Duncan. Survivors include, Wife, Lois Starr Duncan of Columbus, Mississippi; Son, James “Jimmy” Duncan, Jr. & wife, Daeng of Fayetteville, North Carolina; Daughter, JoAnne Beall & husband, Alan of Columbus, Mississippi; Brother, William “Bill” Duncan, Jr. of Columbus Texas.

FLOYD “Dean” CUZICK, JR.
Floyd “Dean” Cuzick, Jr., 45, of Rockwall, Texas, formerly from Timpson, Texas, died December 5, 2013. He was born February 27, 1968 in Duval, Florida, to Floyd, Sr. & Vikki Swanson Cuzick. He graduated from Timpson High School in 1987. Dean proudly served his country in the U. S. Army during Operation Desert Storm and Operation Enduring Freedom. Major Cuzick retired from the U. S. Army after serving for 23 years. His awards included the Bronze Star and the Expert Infantry Badge. He was preceded in death by his mother. Survivors include, Wife, Stacy Cuzick; Daughters, Sara, Emily, Marissa Cuzick, all of Rockwall, Texas; Father, Floyd Cuzick of Center, Texas; Sisters, Rebecca Turisk & husband, Larry of Goose Creek, South Carolina, Cindy Sanford & husband, Jerry of Center, Texas.
GUADALUPE ALMAGUER
Guadalupe Almaguer, 42, of Center, died December 8, 2013 in Tyler. Interment will be in Oaklawn Memorial Park, Center, Texas. He was born January 20, 1971 in Celaya, GTO to Crecenciano Almaguer Gonzalez and Maria Consuelo Moreno Perez Almaguer. He was preceded in death by his mother.
