Tami Kay Smith Dick died Dec. 13, 2018, after a long battle with cancer. Interment was in Greenwood Memorial Park, Fort Worth. She was preceded in death by her father, Arthur A. Smith. Billie M. Cruse Kay, 86, of Shelbyville, died December 16, 2018 at her residence. Interment was in Strong Cemetery, Shelby County. She was born July 20, 1932, in Center, to John Cruse and Stella Tyler Cruse. She was preceded in death by, Parents; Spouse, Atwood Kay, Sr.; Brothers, Ray Cruse, Jackie Cruse, John Wayne Cruse; Sisters, Georgia Holcomb, Bettie Weatherford. Interment will be in Beatties Ford Memorial Gardens, Huntersville, North Carolina.  Survivors include, Children, Angela Renee Weatherly of Atlanta, Georgia, Brandon Charles Weatherly of Conyers, Georgia, Kristen Simone Weatherly of Washington, DC, Joshua Abebe Weatherly of Houston, Texas; Sister, Dr. Darlene Sauls-Bassfield of Chesterfield, VA and her husband Alvin.

Charles R. “Chili” Jones, 80, of the Patroon Community of Shelby County, died December 15, 2018 at his residence. Interment was in Patroon Cemetery, Shelby County. He was born February 11, 1938, in Tenaha, to William Jesse Jones and Willie Ruth Golden Jones. He served his country in the United States Army. He was preceded in death by, Parents; Brother, Jesse “Sonny” Jones. Survivors include, Wife, Patsy Campbell Jones of Patroon; Daughter, Charla Jones of Lufkin; Sisters-in-law, Lucille Jones of Lufkin, Brownie Jo Minton of Waco.
