| SARAH OWENS SCOTT Sarah Owens Scott, 71, of Center died December 17, 2006. Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park. Born November 2, 1935, in Center, she was the daughter of Hubert Aaron Owens and Velma Olena Lock Owens. Survivors include daughter Marilyn Hogue of Center. Watson & Sons Funeral Home. |
| WILLIAM "BILL" JOSEPH BARTON William "Bill" Joseph Barton, 73, of Center died December 18, 2006 at his residence. Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park. Born July 9, 1933, in Center, he was the son of Joseph Edward Barton and Corene Busbee Barton. Mr. Barton was employed by a number of Major Companies as CEO. He opened his law office in 1980, in Center. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, John Barton. Survivors include his wife, Josephine "Mollie" Barton; daughters, G. G. Steiner of Dallas, Alison McIntosh of Dallas, Letitia Poindexter of Center, Judy Owens of Joaquin, Debra Hibbard of Houston and Kathy Waldon of Houston; sons; ??? John Hibbard and Joe Hibbard, both of Nacogdoches; Victor Hibbard of Dallas, L. D., Hibbard, Jr. of Center, Wallace Hibbard of Tyler, Gregory Hibbard of Oslo, Norway. Watson & Sons Funeral Home. |
