Iva B. Parker, 99, of Shelbyville, died December 23, 2021, in Shelbyville.  Interment was in Duncan Cemetery, Shelby County.   She was born June 2, 1922, in Blackwell, to  Luther Green Partridge and Vennie Leona Frasure Partridge. She was preceded in death by, Parents; Husband, Willie Dave Parker; Son-in-law, Ricky W. Davis; 7 siblings.  Survivors include, Daughters, Evon & husband David McDonald of Omaha, Peggy Davis of Shelbyville; Sisters, Canova Rhodes of Magnolia, Lois Whitmire of Cleveland.

Roe Belrose, 82, of Joaquin, died December 23, 2021, in Shreveport, Louisiana.  Interment was in Brandon Shofner Memorial Cemetery, Shelby County.  He was born August 10, 1939, in Shelby County, to Lloyd Carlton Belrose and Cecil Willoughby Belrose.  He was preceded in death by, Parents; Wife, Mary Belrose; Brothers, Ray Belrose, J. E. DONALD MELTON
Donald Melton, 81, of Center, Texas, died December 23, 2021. Interment was in Corinth Cemetery, Shelby County.  He was born on April 7, 1940, in Basile, Louisiana, to Luster and Tommie (Huff) Melton.  He was preceded in death by, Wife, Mary Louise Harrison Melton; Parents; Daughter, Donna Louise Melton Rushing; Brother, Hiram Melton.  Survivors include, Son, Jonathan Melton.

MARY D. PITTS HORNBACK
Mary D. Pitts Hornback, 72, of Center, died December 21, 2021, in Logansport, Louisiana.  Interment was in Carroll Cemetery, Shelby County.  She was born August 1, 1949, to Aaron Pitts and Rossie Roberts Pitts.  She was preceded in death by; Parents; Husband, James Hornback; Daughter, Elecia Hornback; Son, Christopher Hornback; Siblings, Billie Ann Gardner, James Edwards, Jeraldine Pitts, Billie Hill.  Survivors include, Children, Eltrone A Hornback of Poteau, Oklahoma, Elecia Thomas and Patrick of Logansport, Louisiana; Sisters, Christine Edwards & Larry of Killeen, Emma Johnson & Robert of Center.

DOROTHY MAY SCHUHMANN HOOPER MacLEAN
Dorothy May Schuhmann Hooper MacLean, 98, died December 27, 2021. Interment was in New Prospect Cemetery, Shelby County.  She was born on November 9, 1923, in La Grange, Texas to Monroe Henry Emil and Clara Laura Dippel Schuhmann.   She was preceded in death by, Parents; Husband, Hilton Hooper, Husband, Colonel Norman A. MacLean; Son, Bobby Hooper.  Survivors include, Daughters, Priscilla Ann, Cynthia Jo; Son, Fred Hilton Hooper.

 

JOHNNIE LOUISE WILBURN SNIDER
Johnnie Louise Wilburn Snider, 77, of Center, died December 23, 2021, in Center.  Interment was in Willow Grove Cemetery, Shelby County.  She was born February 27, 1944, in Call, to Roland Wilburn and Veola Martin Wilburn.  She was preceded in death by, Parents; Husband, James Allen Snider; Sister, Margie Faulk; Father-in-law and Mother-in-law, Alvin and Cecil Snider; Sister-in-law, Helen Barton; Brother-in-law, Jerrell Snider.  Survivors include, Sons, Jimmy Snider & wife Rhonda of Timpson, Jeff Snider of Carthage, Jason Snider & wife Tiffany of Center; Daughter, Janice Snider Hughes of Center; Brothers, Kenneth Wilburn & wife Lucy of Houston, Jesse Wilburn & wife Cindy of Nacogdoches; Sister-in-law, Lanell Snider of Center.

LOVELL JOYCE BOWLIN HARVEY
Lovell Joyce Bowlin Harvey, 86, died December 11, 2021.  Interment was in Timpson Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Timpson, Texas.  She was born November 24, 1925 in Timpson,to Lovell Dan and Diamond Bowlin.  She was preceded in death by, Parents; Ex-husband, Joe D. Harvey; Brother, Jeffery Bowlin.  Survivors include, Daughter, Tina & husband, Mike Davis; Son, Ted & wife, Lisa Harvey; Sister, Diane Tolmachoff.

ARNOLD BERT GORDON
Arnold Bert Gordon, 86, of Gig Harbor, Washington, died December 15, 2020 at his home.  Interment was in Joaquin Cemetery, Shelby County.  He was born August 18, 1934 to Arnold Ruel and Oneida Ramsey Gordon of Joaquin Texas. He graduated from Joaquin High School.  He served his country in the U. S. Army during 1956-1958 and again in 1961. He was preceded in death by, Parents; Wife, Marianne Daw Gordon; Brother-in-law, Samuel Ray Daw; Sister-in-law, Pertrice Worley Gordon.  Survivors include, Wife, Keiko Fujita Gordon of Gig Harbor, Washington; Sons, Robert Gordon & wife Melanie of Port Orchard, Washington, Shing Gordon & wife Shelley of Clackamas, Oregon; Brothers, Ramsey Gordon & wife Shirley of Orange, Texas, John Gordon of Joaquin, Texas; Sister-in-law,Carolyn Cockrell Daw of Center,Texas.
