The children include Thomas Clements, Leona Clements Whittlesey, Susie Jesse and Zula James; Ira Nat and Sarah Ellen; the Rev. William Jefferson Clements and Vera Clements, Charlsie Martin Sanders, Edith Sanders Jones.
Miss Trudy Nicholson taught her first year at the school, traveling to it by horseback from Center daily.
