He was born February 11, 1935, in Tenaha, Texas to Harry Powers and Eva Ovada Anderson Permenter. He served his country in the United States Air Force. He was preceded in death by. Parents; Brother, Charles Harvey Permenter; Sister, Oda Pauline Shepard. Survivors include, Wife, Judy; Son, Charles Earl Permenter; Daughter, Donna Lee Sandifer; Stepdaughters, Amanda Spradlin, Genna Smith.
