Elijah Scott Taylor, 2, died January 20, 2026, in Shreveport, Louisiana.  Interment was in Gloster Trinity Cemetery, Gloster, Louisiana.  He was born June 9, 2023, to Shane and Christine Taylor in Shreveport, Louisiana.  Survivors include, Parents; Brothers, William Taylor of Longstreet, Louisiana, Thomas Taylor of Longstreet, Louisiana; Great-Grandmother, Patricia Taylor of Shiloh, Louisiana; Grandparents, Mike and Kim Taylor of Longstreet, Louisiana, Mark Owens of Joaquin, Texas, Donald and Judy Monroe of Center, Texas; Aunts and Uncles, Eric and Anna Talley of Keatchie, Louisiana, Amber Owens and Brandon Johnson of Austin, Texas, Reese Monroe of Seabrook, Texas.

Betty Glaze, 84, of Stonewall, Louisiana, formerly of the Paxton Community of Shelby County, Texas, died January 21, 2026, in Shreveport, Louisiana.  Interment was in Johnson Cemetery, Joaquin, Texas.  She was born February 13, 1941, to Oca Moody and Dena Harvey Moody.  She was preceded in death by, Husband, James Glaze; Husband, Clovis Goings; Parents;  Brother, Bob Moody; Sister-in-law, Betty Moody.  Survivors include, Daughter, Gina and husband Darien Greer; Bonus daughter, Mary and husband Mike Orr; Sister-in-law, Debbie and husband Tim Runnels.

Jimmy Earl Denby, 61, of San Augustine, Texas, died January 22, 2026, in San Augustine. THOMAS EDWARD HUGHES
Thomas Edward “Blue Goose” Hughes, 84, of Center, Texas, died January 23, 2026, in Center, Texas.  He was born on August 11, 1941, in Hamilton, Ontario Canada. He served in the United States Navy from 1961-1965 and did a world tour on the USS Enterprise and became a US citizen in 1964. He was preceded in death by, Parents, Ethel and George Hughes; Brother, Gary Hughes; Son, George Thomas Hughes.  Survivors include, Wife, Frances Hughes; Daughters and Son-in-laws, Catherine Foote of Key Largo, Ann Marie Cormier and Scott of Conroe, Texas, Michelle Hughes and Van Hien Tran of Katy, Texas.

JEFFERY WARREN HUDMAN
Jeffrey Warren Hudman, 62, died January 17, 2026. He was born November 8, 1963, in Center, Texas, to Noble and Bernice Hudman. He grew up in Timpson, Texas, where he was a proud Bear. He was preceded in death by, Parents; Infant daughter, Whitney Hudman; Sister, Barbara Green; Brothers-in-law, Michael Nix, Bobby Ritter, Mike Green.  Survivors include, Wife, Ann Hudman; Daughter, Brittany Bonneville and favorite son-in-law, Tim Bonneville; Son, Zachary Hudman; Daughter, Sydney Hudman; Sisters, Johnnie Nix, Judy Ritter; Brother, Chris Hudman.
A Life Celebration funeral service will be held Saturday, January 31, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. in the Cammack Family Chapel.

ELLEN SUE GOODRICH COLLINS-BRITZ
Ellen Sue Goodrich Collins-Britz, formerly of Johnson City, Tennessee, died August 31, 2025 in Collierville, Tennessee following a battle with Alzheimer's disease. Interment was in Oaklawn Memorial Park, Center.  She was born in Maine on March 7, 1945 to William George and Millie Evelyn Berry Goodrich.  The family later moved to Center, Texas where she attended Center High School.  She was preceded in death by, Mother, Millie E. Goodrich; Father, William G. Goodrich; Brother, William Garfield "Billy" Goodrich.  Survivors include, Husband, Terry Britz of Johnson City, Tennessee; Sister, Bonnie Lucas (Claude) of Center, Texas; Sons, Cary Collins (Carrie Lee) of Warren, Rhode Island, Kenton Collins (Jocelyn) of Collierville, Tennessee; Stepdaughter, Kristen Brennan of Woodstock, GA; Stepson, Patrick Britz of Fort Mill, SC.

JASON LEWIS
Jason Lewis, 46, of McAlester, Oklahoma, formerly of Center, Texas, died January 21, 2026, in Loyal, Wisconsin.  Interment was in Oaklawn Memorial Park, Center, Texas.  He was born on July 30, 1979, in Baytown, Texas, to Garland and Laurie Lewis.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Laurie Lewis.  Survivors include, Brother, JC Lewis and wife Brandy; Father, Garland Lewis.

TAMMY RENEE HENLEY
Tammy Renee Henley, 63, of Orange, Texas, died January 23, 2026, in Orange.  Interment was in Autumn Oaks Memorial Park, Orange.  She was born in Center, Texas, on August 10, 1962, to Thomas Gerald Wilburn and Barbara Vaughn Wilburn. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include, Husband, Bo Henley; Son, Jonathan Henley and wife, Brandy of Fannett; Daughter, Amber Rickenbrode and husband, Phillip of Orangefield; Brother, Greg Wilburn and wife, Brandi of Lexington.
Funeral service is under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home.

RAY MC COLLISTER
Ray McCollister, 29, of Nacogdoches, Texas, died January 20, 2026. He was born May 29, 1996 in Center, Texas to Connie Watts and Alfred McCollister.  He attended Center ISD.  He was preceded in death by his Father.  Survivors include, Mother, Connie Anderson of Tenaha; Brothers, Jamien Watts of Nacogdoches, Joshua McCollister (LaNieba) of Center; Sister, Angela Hill (Darius); Children, Camilla McCollister, De'Shawn Sterns (bonus), Jaylon Ashworth (bonus).

PAUL JONES
Paul Jones, 90, of Gilmer, died January 28, 2026, in Longview.  He was born May 27, 1935, in Shelby County, to Carl Thomas Jones and Willie Wilson Jones. He served in the United States Air Force. He was preceded in death by, Wife, Annie Laura Jones; Parents, Carl Thomas Jones and Willie Wilson Jones.  Survivors include, Children, Terry Jones, Mark Jones and wife Shana; Brother, Prentice Earl Jones.
