Jack Lawerence Porter, 93, of Shelbyville, Texas, died January 25, 2026, in Shelbyville, Texas.  Interment was in Old Sardis Cemetery.  He was born on April 21, 1932, in Center, Texas, to Acie Leon Porter and Addie Lee (Greer) Porter.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  Survivors include, Wife, Gloria Porter; Son, Danny Porter; Brother, Bobby Porter and wife Margie; Sisters, Daisy Johnson and husband Buddy, Marie McDonald and husband Buddy.
