Guadalupe Saenz Rodriguez, 69, of Joaquin, passed away Thursday February 4, 2010 in Nacogdoches, Texas.  Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park, Center, TX.  She was born March 28, 1940 to Eduardo and Guadalupe (Herrera) Saenz.  She is preceded in death by parents, Sisters, Delia Saenz Martinez and Dora Mejorado.  She is survived by husband, Arnulfo Rodriguez of Joaquin, Brothers Edward Saenz & wife, Rosa of Raymondville, Enrique Saenz & wife, Janie of Raymondville, Barney Saenz & wife, Ruby of Tyler, Art Saenz & wife, Diane of Sebastian, Ernesto Saenz & wife, Becky of Raymondville, Sisters, Janie Saenz of Florida, Mercedes Tristan & husband, Fernando, Jr. of Nacogdoches, and numerous nieces and nephews.

TAYLOR ROSS

Taylor Ross, age 68, of Carthage, TX, passed away Friday February 5, 2010 at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.  Burial was in Fenton Cemetery in Nacogdoches County, TX.  Taylor Ross was born on Oct. 20, 1941, in Center, TX to Fisher O’Brien and Clyda Mae Taylor Ross. He graduated from Center High School with the class of 1960, and attended Panola College.  He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Fisher Ross.   Taylor is survived by his wife, Twink Sitton Ross of Carthage; his mother, Ned Ross of Jacksonville; one daughter, Susannah Caroline Ross Romero and husband Joseph Waymon of Carthage; two grandchildren, Joseph Taylor Romero and Madison Caroline Romero both of Carthage; one brother, James Thomas Ross of Dallas; one sister, Cynthia Ross Vermie and husband John of Dallas; four nieces; and one great-niece, and numerous other relatives and many friends..

PERRY ALLEN "PAPA" CASSELL

ARCHIE FEDRICK SPURLOCK

FRED McLEOD

Fred McLeod, 78, of Center, passed away Monday, February 8, 2010 at Mother Frances Hospital, Tyler, Texas. Burial was at Sardis Cemetery, Shelby County, Texas.   He was born July 2, 1931 to Lindsey and Verna (Baldree) McLeod. He graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1950.  He was preceded in death by his Parents, Lindsey and Verna McLeod and Wife, Reba McLeod.  He is survived by Special Friend, Bettie Rozell of Tyler; Brother, Glenn McLeod & wife, Betty of Longview; Sisters, Dorothy Hull of Carthage, Ruth Spradley of Kilgore; Niece “Child” Jean Stevens & husband, Bob of Nacogdoches; and a number of nieces and nephews.

JACK A. CLARK

Jack A. Clark, 63, of Timpson died February 2, 2010 in Nacogdoches, Texas. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Nacogdoches, Texas. He was born June 30, 1946 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Oris and Lois (Agnew) Clark.  Survivors include a daughter, Wendy Cook and husband Neil of Austin, TX, grandson Collin Cook of Austin, sister Patsy Ruth Clark of Center, TX, aunt Lois Ross of Timpson and numberous other relatives and friends.

DORA LYNN BOYD

Dora Lynn Boyd, 45, of Mount Enterprise, died February 3, 2010 in Henderson, Texas.  Burial was in Woodlawn Heights Cemetery, Henderson. She was born Dec. 15, 1964, in Pasadena, Texas to James "Buzzy" and Mary Boyd of Mt. Enterprise, TX.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Clayton and Dora Baker and Alvin and Julia Boyd.  Survivors include: parents, James "Buzzy" Boyd and wife Mary of Mount Enterprise; brothers, James Alvin Boyd of Danville, KY. and Randy Boyd and wife Amber of Mount Enterprise; sister, Tammy Sallee and husband Bobby of Mount Enterprise; nephews and nieces, Steven Sallee, Channing Rogers, Trevor Sallee, Macie Boyd, Jesse Boyd, Brooklyn Boyd, Cody Boyd and Jacob Boyd; great-nephew, Josiah Rogers.

LLA FAYE HAWKS

Lla Faye Hawks, 90, of Orange, Texas, passed away on February 5, 2010 in Spring, Texas. Burial was in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Shelby County.  She was born on July 8, 1919 to Joseph and Minnie Crump in the Silas Community of Shelby County, Texas.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Minnie Crump; husbands, Allen Burton McDonald and Charles Hawks; son, Patrick McDonald; brother, Bud Crump; and sisters Winnie Mae Perkins, Maudell Brittain and Tenney Green.  She is survived by a son, Michael Allen McDonald and wife Patsy of Spring, Texas; four step-daughters, Amy Burgess and Haskell of Shreveport, LA, Sharon Engelhard and husband Earl of Davidsonville, MD, Charlene Laxton and husband Jim of Lake Jackson, Texas, and Susan Lindamood and husband Steve of Clear Lake, Texas;  9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sister Jennie Saver of Orange, Texas; and brothers Bob Crump of Timpson and Bill Crump of Hallsville, Texas.

SAMANTHA JO FRAZIER

Samantha Jo Frazier, 19, of Center, TX, passed away February 07, 2010, in Center, TX. .  Burial was in Cold Springs Cemetery, Garrison, TX.  She was born August 13, 1990, in Henderson, Texas,  to Ben and Tammy (Beard) Frazier.  She was preceded in death by brother Dustin Hollnagel.  She is survived a son, Kayden Carl Haessly; fiance, Justin Haessly; parents Ben and Tammy Frazier of Timpson; brothers Chris Hollnagel and wife Holly of Douglass and Thomas Frazier of Douglass; sisters Kelly Frazier of Douglass and Kelsey Frazier of Timpson; grandparents; Sherry Castleberry and husband Lee of Timpson, Carl Lavon and Jean Beard of Houston; great grandmother Pauline Sunday of Carlisle, TX;  4 nieces and  7 nephews;  special friend Angela Haessy and her children.                                                                                                                                                                                         Online condolences can be sent at Taylor Funeral Home.

Leland Max Menefee, 66, of Mt. Pleasant; Daughters Kris Rash & husband Rev. Lamar of Center, Kelly Foehner & husband Rick of Shelbyville; Son, Chad Menefee & wife Claudia of Mt.
