Lena Mae Rudd Cormier, 89, of Lumberton, Texas, died March 11, 2019, at a Beaumont hospital. Interment was in R. S. Farmer Memorial Cemetery, Silsbee, Texas. A native and former resident of Shelby County, Lena was born June 4, 1929, in Center to Elmer and Nora Rudd. She was preceded in death by, Parents; Husband, Rene Joseph Cormier; Sisters, Faye, Merle, Pearl. Survivors include, Son, Ronnie Cormier & wife Patricia of Baytown; Daughter, Theresa Bridges & husband Tommy of Lumberton; Brother, Elmer Ray Rudd of Gillis, Louisiana; Sister, Geraldine Durso of Silsbee.

Minnie LaPearl Dean Jefferson, 73, died March 12, 2019. Interment was in Strong Cemetery, Shelby County. Clifford Wayne Hand, 91, of Shelbyville, Texas, died March 14, 2019 in Center, Texas. Interment was in Strong Cemetery, Shelby County. He was born on September 25, 1927 in Amarillo, Texas to W. B. Hand and Montalee Longacre Hand. He served his country in the United States Air Force during World War II. He was preceded in death by, Parents; Wife, Judy.
