MARY CHARLOTTE BOLES BROADWAY
Mary Charlotte Boles Broadway, 89, of Timpson, died March 26, 2025 in Nacogdoches.  Interment was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Timpson, Texas. She was born to Clarence and Nannie Mary Strong Boles on August 12, 1935 in the Rusk County community of Concord.  She was preceded in death by, Parents; Brothers, John, C.M. (Marion), Jim Boles; Husband, Forest Broadway.  Survivors include, Son, Tracy Broadway and wife Tammy of Timpson; Daughter, Christi Smith and husband, Calvin, Jr. of Timpson; Sister-in-law, Annette Boles of Forney.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Charlotte Broadway's memory to the Shelby County Children's Advocacy Center, 131 Tenaha St., Center, TX 75935.

 

JOHNNY EARL “J. E.” PETTIGREW, JR.
Johnny Earl “JE” Pettigrew, Jr., 59, of Center, Texas, died March 9, 2025, in Hemphill, Texas.  He was cremated.  He was born in Tyler, Texas to the late Johnny Earl Pettigrew, Sr and Gloria Lee Smith Pettigrew on August 8, 1965.  Survivors include, Sisters, Ernestine Pinson, Ann Marie Pettigrew; Aunt, Mozelle Smith; Uncle, Jim Yarborough.

JAMES ALLEN PRICE
James Allen Price, 38, of Joaquin, died March 31, 2025, in Joaquin.  His wishes were to be cremated.  He was born March 29, 1987, in Center, to A. J. Price, Jr. and Polly Ann Phillips Price. Survivors include, Parents; Brother, Allen Price of Joaquin; Sister, Christy Barber and husband Earl of Logansport.

MARVIN LLOYD HEDRICK
Marvin Lloyd Hedrick, 73, of Broaddus, died March 31, 2025, in Lufkin.  Interment will be in Oaklawn Memorial Park, Center.  He was born November 21, 1951, in Kilgore, to Boyd Hedrick and Edith Jones Hedrick.  He was preceded in death by,  Wife, Louise Hedrick; Parents; Sisters, Brenda Smith, Elaine Bynum, Mary Behrends, Paula McGuire, Lavon Drake; Brother, Sam Hedrick.  Survivors include, Children, Loretta Smith of Pasadena, Patricia Figueroa of Goodyear, Arizona, Samantha Hedrick of Pasadena, Robert Bush of Center, Melody Griffin and husband Robert of Center, Steven Bush and wife Renee of Tenaha; Sister, Louise Compton and husband Carroll of Republic, Missouri.

J. D. SMITH
J. D. ROBERT EARL WHITE
Robert Earl “Step” White, 62, died March 22, 2025. Interment will be in Haslam Cemetery, Shelby County.  He was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on May 28, 1962 to Wayne White and Bessie Canada.  He was preceded in death by, Parents; Brothers, Verse and Richard White; a special uncle and aunt, James and Mary Canada who raised him as their own; Father and Mother-in-law, Lonnie and Gloria McDaniel.  Survivors include, Wife: Jeanette White of Frankston, Texas; Daughters, Patshalla White Campbell (Jarrod) of Mansfield, Louisiana, Jasmine White of Tyler, Texas; God-Daughter, Cheryl O Neal of Shreveport, Louisiana; Brothers, Ronnie Canada (Carolyn) of Shreveport, Louisiana, Vernon White (Darlene) of Allenhurst, Georgia, James White (Melba) of Logansport, Louisiana, Curtis White (Felicia) of Shreveport, Louisiana, Michael Canada of Logansport, Louisiana; Sisters-in-Law, Debra Allen (Henry) of Irving, Texas, Teresa Salone of Royse City, Texas, Brenda Horton of Logansport, Louisiana.

TAMMY ANN OSBY
Tammy Ann Osby, 55, of Garrison, died March 25, 2025. She will be cremated.  She was born on March 28, 1969 to Leonard Osby and Ruby Thompson.  She was preceded in death by, Father, Leonard Osby; Sister, Dorothy Osby-Pleasant.  Survivors include, Daughters, Temeka Henderson, Nikisha Osby; Brothers, Marquis Reed, David Reed; Mother, Ruby Thompson.

JAH’MIR BANKS SAMFORD
Jah’mir Banks Samford, born 11-27-2024, passed away April 2, 2025.  Interment was in Ramah Cemetery, Shelby County.  He was preceded in death by, Great Papa, Richard Gray; Great Grandpa and Granny, Billy and Shirley Samford; and Great Grandpa Kenneth and Grandma Mary Brown.  Survivors include, Mother, Stephanie Samford ; Brother, Jaston Davis; Sisters, Jayla Caraway, Jadan Samford, Jordyn Samford , Journey Samford; Grandparents, TR and Donna Dugger, Sammy Samford; Great Grandmother, Patricia Gray.
