BOBBY SUE (OLIVER) EBERLAN
Bobbie Sue (Oliver) Eberlan, age 74, of Center, Texas, died April 21, 2021, in Nacogdoches, Texas. Interment will follow at Rosevine Cemetery, located on FM 1 in Sabine County.  She was born February 5, 1947, in Bronson, Texas, to parents Myrtie (English) Oliver and Odessa Oliver. She was preceded in death by siblings, Kenneth Oliver, Samuel “Bo Oliver, Margie Harris, Pauline Birdwell, Lamar Oliver and Marie Oliver.  Her survivors include, Brother, Winford Oliver of Houston, Sisters, Marsha Dearing of Hemphill, Marilyn Jagneaux of Fort Worth, Daughters,
Melinda Macias and husband Tony of Center, Tammie Sutton and Kenneth Scott of San Augustine, Tina Taylor and Stacy of Center,Tonya Hinson and husband Keith of Center.  Wyman Roberts Funeral Home in San Augustine.

DR. KENNETH DEWEY HAIRGROVE
Dr. Kenneth Dewey Hairgrove died on April 21, 2021. He was born on February 2, 1939, in the Buena Vista Community to Agnes Burns and Dewey Jefferson Hairgrove. Burial will follow at the Stockdale Cemetery. He was preceded in death by his parents Agnes Burns and Dewey Jefferson Hairgrove, brother Marion Hairgrove, and sisters Lurline Hairgrove Cole and Elaine Hairgrove Neal.He is survived by wife, SarahHairgrove, with whom he celebrated his 50th wedding anniversary on July 18, 2020.

EMMA ELIZABETH (BETTY) WILLOUGHBY CHAMBLISS
Emma Elizabeth (Betty) Willoughby Chambliss age 80, of Lufkin, Texas, formerly of Center, Texas, died April 23, 2021.  Burial will be in Garden of Memories Memorial Park. She was born July 14, 1940 in Benton, Bossier Parish, Louisianato parents Henry Clayton Willoughby and Tressie Alaf Byrd Willoughby.  She was preceded in death by husband, Charles Thomas Chambliss, parents, Henry and Tressie Willoughby, brother, Alvis (Buddy) Willoughby and wife Helen, sister, Rosa Mae Jordan-King, sister, Maxine Oswalt and husband Dennis, sister-in-law, Rose Willoughby.She is survived bydaughters, Cynthia Ann Raines of Lufkin, Debra Renee’ Blackburn and husband Joe of Lufkin, Mary Elizabeth Chambliss Stripling and husband Doug of Lufkin.

HOMER JOE FITTS
Homer Joe Fitts, age 69, of San Augustine, died Sunday, April 25, 2021, at his residence.  He was born March 17, 1952, in Center, Texas, to parents Joe M. Fitts and Billie Marie Arnold Fitts.  Burial will be in Fitts Family Cemetery, located on FM 3017 near San Augustine.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe M. and Billie Marie Fitts.  He is survived by Wife, Carolyn Oliver Fitts of San Augustine, Daughters, Lisa Cartwright and her husband Kevin Lynch of San Augustine, Linda Thornton and husband Charles "Hoss" Thornton of San Augustine, Cathy Cathey and husband Jimmy Cathey of Pollok, Texas.

MAXINE LUNSFORD GADDY
Maxine Lunsford Gaddy, age 78 of Garrison, Texas died April 21, 2021, in Garrison, Texas. She was born on September 24, 1942, in Garrison, Texas to the late Albert Lee Lunsford and Mary Alice (Hartt) Lunsford.  Interment will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery, Garrison, Texas. She is survived by, Daughters, Jeanese Murdock, Jeanette Higginbotham and husband Randy, Sister, Mary Ann Wharton, Brother, James Lee Lunsford.  She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Wayne Gaddy, son, Michael Wayne “Mike” Gaddy, parents, Albert Lee and Mary Alice Lunsford, sisters, Wanda Jean Thrash, Doris Connell, and Mildred Sue Knight.

MARTIN BAILEY LANE
Martin Bailey Lane, Age 83, of Jasper, Texas, died on April 23, 2021 at Harbor Hospice Hospital in Jasper, Texas. He was born October 27, 1937, in Tenaha, Texas, to Ruby Pearl Primrose Lane and James Bailey Lane.Martin was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by, Wife of 33 years, Mary Moore Lane, Daughter, Brandi Lane Roach and her husband, Kendell Roach of Port Neches, Texas.  A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 10:00 AM, at Lake Rayburn Methodist Church, Sam Rayburn, Texas, Interment in Tennessee Community Cemetery, Tenaha, Texas.

Memorial contributions may be made to Lake Rayburn Methodist Church, PO Box 5014, Sam Rayburn, Texas 75951.

SYLVIA MARTIN MILLER
Sylvia Martin Miller, Age 75, of Joaquin, Texas, died on April 25, 2021 in Center, Texas. Born May 26, 1945, in Philadelphia, Mississippi, Sylvia is the daughter of Robert Ponder and Mira Ponder.  Interment was in Brookland Cemetery in Joaquin, Texas.  Survived by,  Sons, Tommy Martin and wife Chris, James Miller and wife Brenda, Kenneth Miller and wife Victoria, John Martin, and wife Casi.  Proceeded in death by Husband, Elwood Martin, Parents, Robert Ponder and Mira Ponder, Daughter, Sherry Hodney and Sister, Lillian Holloway.

LEIGH CURRY (RUTH LELA)
Leigh Curry (Ruth Lela), age 76, was born on January 17, 1945, in Tylertown, MS, and died at her home on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, in Pearl, MS.She was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Burley Wease Hinson.She is survived bySiblings, Ron Hinson (Brenda), Bill Graves (Mary), Paul Graves, Joy Lewal, Children, Judy Dickson, Janice Barton (Robert) of Tenaha, Jonathan McCardle (Kathy), Cody Curry (Mandy).

RONNY JOE BEARD
Ronny Joe Beard, Age 69, of Timpson, Texas, died on April 25, 2021 in Ft. Worth, Texas. He was born on February 12, 1952, in Center, Texas, to the late Joe Bill and Gearldean (Curbow) Beard. Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Taylor Funeral Home. He is survived by, Sons, Ryan Beard and wife Briana, Wesley Beard and Brittany, Daughter, Stacy Babella and Jeff Cowan, Mother of their children, Anita Moore and husband Robert, Brothers, Donny Beard and wife Darlene, Terry Beard and wife Carol Beard and wife Martha, Sisters, Barbara West, Sandra Beard, Becky Palmer.  Ronny is preceded in death by his infant daughter, Ronea Beard, parents, Joe Bill and Gearldean Beard, brothers, Tommy Beard, Jerry Beard, Perry Beard, and sister, Shirley Cottongin.

He was born January 10, 1938, in Shelby County, to parents William N. Jones and Blanche Davis Jones. He is preceded in death by parents, William N. Jones and Blanche Davis Jones; brothers, Elbert Jones, Leon Foster, R.J. William Gayland “Bo” Morris, Age 81, of Gary, died  Wednesday, April 28, 2021, in Center.  He was born to Clifford Doyce “C. D. Morris and Mavouryne Grace Morris, October 21, 1939 in Tenaha.  Burial will be in Old Tennessee Cemetery in Shelby County.  He is survived by, Daughters, Linda Malnar (John) of Lufkin, Lisa Grey of Houston, Sons, James Lawrence (Karen) of Lufkin, Thomas Morris (Calin) of Nacogdoches, Sisters, Karen (Glen) Cruse of St. Louis, MO, Doyce Bailey of Tenaha.  He is preceded in death by parents, C.D. and Mavouryne Morris, brother, Robert Earl Morris Jr., and brother-in-law, Eddie Bailey.
