Louann Hurst Leach, 59, of Pineland, Texas, died May 15, 2015 in Nacogdoches. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery, Center, Texas. She was born November 2, 1955 in Center, Texas to Jerry Waters and Marie Hurst Waters. She was preceded in death by, Parents; Grandparents, Dr. T. L. and Lilly Hurst. LLOYD WAYNE DODSON
Lloyd Wayne Dodson, 90, of Bonham, Texas, died May 17, 2015 at his home. Interment was in Willow Wild Cemetery. He was born to Albert and Christine Graves Dodson in the Elwood community (Route 1, Ivanhoe) on September 1, 1924. Lloyd enlisted in the Army and served his country in the Pacific Theater during World War II. In August 1945, Lloyd was awarded the Bronze Star Medal with “V” (for Valor) for heroic action against the enemy vicinity San Jose, Luzon, Philippines Islands. He was preceded in death by, Wife, Doris Grey (Stimpson) Dodson; Son, Jerry Wayne Dodson; Parents, Albert and Christine; Brothers, Dennis, Vertis, Tobe, Ward, and Stanley; Sister, Nadine. Survivors include, Brother, Clifford (Kathryn) of Mineola; Sons, Danny (Debra) of Center, Ricky (Rumiko) of Lansing, Kansas; Daughter, Judy of Denison.
