She was born to George Phillips and Winnie Livingston Phillips in Many, Louisiana, on August 24, 1939. She was preceded in death by, Husband, Harden Jones; Parents; Brothers, Earl Phillips, Willie Phillips, Hershel Phillips, Glenn Phillips; Sister, Rachael Hanson. Survivors include, Children, Lisa Jacobs and husband, Roy of Shelbyville, Vicky Shields and husband, David of Center, Wayne Jones and wife, Penny of Center, David Jones of Center; Sister, Georgia Snyder.

DAVID WAYNE WHITLOCK
David Wayne Whitlock, 73, of Center, died May 17, 2025, in Center. His wishes were to be cremated and a private family memorial will be held at a later date. He was born May 3, 1952, in Center, to Winifred “Windy” Whitlock and Daphine Slatter Whitlock. He volunteered at the Shelby County Historical Society Museum and Library. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include, Children, Celeste Atmar of Silsbee, Jon Whitlock of San Antonio, Sam Pryor of Beaumont; Aunt, Peaches Conway of Center; Brother, George Whitlock of Little Rock, Arkansas.

Delores Ann Addison Fountain, 79, died May 18, 2025, in Timpson. Interment was in Old Salem Cemetery, Shelby County. She was born February 6, 1946, at home in Shelby County, to Junior Brown and Buna Rachel Bailey Addison. She graduated from Joaquin High School. She was preceded in death by, Parents; Husband; Father-in-law, John Mitchell Fountain; Mother-in-law, Ruth Laverne Mancil Fountain Akridge. Survivors include, Children, David and Lisa Hailey of Timpson, Bobby Joe, Jr. (Joey) and Iletha Fountain of Center; Brother and Sister, Bobby and Rose Addison of Center, Jerry and Tonhia Fleming of Shelbyville; Brother-in-Law and Sisters-in-Law, James and Diane Fountain of Groves, Paula Rogers of Onalaska.

MARCUS EARL WELCH
Marcus Earl Welch 79, of Pasadena, Texas, died May 16, 2025. Interment was in Timpson Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. He was born May 20, 1945 to Daniel Evern Welch and Eva Marie Witherspoon in the Bobo Community, Timpson, Texas. He served four years in the U.S. Army Security Agency from 1965-1969. He served in Chitose, Japan from July 1966 thru November 1967 and Vietnam from November 1967 thru July 1969. He was preceded in death by, Parents. Survivors include, Wife, Elaine Connell Welch of Pasadena; Children, Jason Lee Welch and wife Kristi of Pasadena, Kelly Renee Welch of San Antonio.
A second visitation is scheduled at Timpson Missionary Baptist Church, 2142 US-59, Timpson, TX 75975, on May 23, 2025, from 4:30 pm to 5:00 pm, followed by a committal service from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

Michael Jerome Cleveland, 58, of Center, Texas, died May 15, 2025 in Houston. He was born on July 14, 1966 to Alton Watts and Margaret Cleveland. He was a member of the Center High School class of 1985. He was preceded in death by, Parents; Brothers, Marcus Cleveland, Christopher Cleveland; Sisters, Komecia Cleveland, Kemi Cleveland.
