JAMES IRL POWELL
James Irl Powell, 94, of Shelbyville, died May 22, 2015 at his residence. Interment was in Shelbyville Cemetery, Shelbyville, Texas. James was born December 4, 1920 to Irl H. and Oma Tillman Powell. He graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1938. He served his country in the Army Air Corps. He participated in 29 air combat missions that included the Rhineland, Central Europe and France. His military decorations include the Distinguished Flying Cross. He was preceded in death by, Parents; Wife, Juanice Wheeler Powell; Daughter, Sheila Powell; Brothers, Joe Frank Powell, Jack T. Powell; Brothers-in-law, Gilbert Wheeler, John Head. Survivors include, Sons, James Gregory Powell of Shelbyville, Timothy Irl Powell & wife, Donna of Odessa; Sister. Shirley Powell Head of Tyler; Brother-in-law, Richard Wheeler of Ojai, California.

Vera Lee Jones Bluford, 96, of San Augustine, Texas., died May 19, 2015 at her residence. Interment will be in Thompson Cemetery. John Patrick Dominy, 64, of Center, formerly of Houston, died May 27, 2015 at his residence. He was born November 8, 1950 in Houston to Marvin Dominy and Margaret Powers Dominy. He served in the United States National Guard. Survivors include, Wife, Ivy Ray Dominy of Center; Daughters, Jennifer Beattie & husband, Matt, of LaPorte, Jill Willey & husband, Chris, of Pearland; Brother, Marvin Dominy of Pearland; Sisters, Cora Sue Mach of Houston, Cheri Chevalier of Hallettsville.

Thomas Carroll Stack, 80, of Center, died May 27, 2015 in Nacogdoches. Interment was in Oaklawn Memorial Park, Center, Texas. He was born October 1, 1934 in Center to Thomas Carroll Stack Sr. and Thelma Pearl Reaves Stack. He retired from the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include, Sister, Judy Hughes & husband, Fred, of Lufkin; Favorite Companion, Bandit.

Wayne Noe Hill, 82, of Center, died May 16, 2015 in Austin. He was born December 09, 1932 in Peoria, Illinois to Robert Vernon Hill and Noma C. Hill. He served his country in the U. S. Army. Survivors include, Wife, Millie Hill of Center; Sons, Joe R. & Kathy Hill of Austin, Dan V. & Sheryl Hill of Pearland, Mike E. & Laura Hill of Timpson; Sister, Noma V. Moore of Saint Elmo Illinois.
