LANDON WAYNE PARKS
Landon Wayne Parks, “LanLan”, 12, of Timpson, Texas, died May 30, 2022, in Center, Texas.  Interment was in Folsom Chapel Cemetery, Shelby County.  He was born on September 8, 2009, in Nacogdoches, Texas, to Daniel and Erica Parks.  Survivors include, Mom and Dad, Erica and Daniel Parks; Sisters and Brother, Kirstie, Ellie, and Trevor; Grandparents, Barbara and Harold Elliott, Debra Parks, Cecil Parks; Hollis and Rebecca Thomas, Dion and Shay Schoening.

BOBBY RAY HARPER
Bobby Ray Harper, 63, died May 27, 2022. He was born March 12, 1959, to Velma Harper and Bobby Joe Nickerson.  He attended school in Center ISD. He was preceded in death by, Wife, Nina Cleveland; Mother, Velma Harper; Father, Bobby Joe Nickerson.  Survivors include, Sisters, Sandra Wynn (James), Shelly Washington Leonard, Tonja Gardner Singleton (Willie), Allison Young (Harry), Lisa Carpenter (Eric); Step-sisters, Latwan and Sherry Gibbs; Brothers, Victor Johnson (Christian), Donald Rushing, Kelby Gardner.

CONALD WEBB BATES
Conald Webb Bates, 74, of Joaquin, Texas, died June 5, 2022, in Nacogdoches, Texas.  Interment was in Willow Grove Cemetery, Shelby County.   He was born on March 14, 1948, in Logansport, Louisiana, to Robert Elmer Bates and Eulah Merle Rhame Bates.  Webb was drafted at the age of 19 years old and proudly served his country during Vietnam. He was honorably discharged in 1969 with the Army Commendation Medal, Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal with device, Vietnam Service Medal, and Sharpshooter (Rifle).  He was preceded in death by, Parents; Daughter, Meta Michele Bates; Sister, Rita Dickerson.  Survivors include, Wife, Norma Gene Bates; Son, Michael Bates & wife Julie; Brother, Robert Melton Bates & wife Kay.

JAMES H. TOMLINSON
James H. Tomlinson, 85, of Garrison, Texas, died June 6, 2022. Interment was in Mt. Herman Cemetery, Shelby County.  He was born December 22, 1936 in Corpus Christi, Texas to James C. Tomlinson and Lillian Heldt Tomlinson.  He was preceded in death by, Parents; Son, James Winton Tomlinson.  Survivors include, Wife, Sue Tomlinson of Garrison; Daughters, Jamie Finney of Tioga, Texas, Stacy Piazza & husband Joe Piazza of Garrison, Sister, Iola Gage & husband Ken Gage.

JONATHAN GRANVILLE WALLER
Jonathan Granville Waller, 46, of Center, Texas, died June 6, 2022, in Center, Texas.  Interment was in Neuville Cemetery, Shelby County.  He was born on October 7, 1975, in Pineville, Louisiana, to Alton Roy Waller and Glenda Crouch.  He was preceded in death by, Father, Alton Roy Waller.  Survivors include, Son, Sean Waller; Mother, Glenda Waller; Brothers, Jamie Waller & wife Aimee, Timothy Waller & wife Anita; Sisters, Tonya Parks, Melissa Waller Robertson, Amanda Waller, Angela Pope & husband John.

RICHARD T. GRAY, JR.
Richard T. Gray, Jr., 90, of Joaquin, Texas, died June 8, 2022, in Shreveport, Louisiana.   Interment was in Ramah Cemetery, Tenaha, Texas.  He was born on May 20, 1932, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to Solen Grant Gray and Edith Theresa Gallagher.   He joined the United States Air Force and proudly served his country for 20 years before retiring as Chief Master Sergeant.  He was preceded in death by, Parents, Solen Grant and Edith Teresa Gray; Sister in laws, Pam Gray, Freda Cummings; Brother in laws, Herman Cummings, and Mike Cummings.   Survivors include, Wife, Patricia; Sons, Craig Gray & wife Caren, Mark Gray & wife Jane, Bryan Gray, David Ramsey & wife Darlene; Daughters, Debra Caldwell, Donna Dugger; Brother, John Gray; Sister, Teresa Ann Underwood & husband Henry.
