SILVER BELL MOTLEY
Silver Bell Motley, 87, died on July 1, 2025, in Center.  Interment will be in Oaklawn Memorial Park, Center, Texas.  She was born on December 31, 1937, to Marley Steven Bell and Mildred Lookabaugh Bell in Ennis, Texas.  She is a 1956 graduate of Center High School and taught at Center ISD for 17 years.  She was preceded in death by, Parents, Steven “Steve” and Mildred Bell; in-laws, Luke “Jack” and Martha Motley; Sister and brother-in-law, Charles and Kathy Noble; Sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Jeanne and Leland Howard; Brother-in-Law, Wardlow Lane.  Survivors include, Husband of 66 years, Luke Motley III; Son, Luke Motley IV and wife Rosalind of Sherman, Texas and family; Daughters,  Monica Van Slate and husband Jon of Houston, Texas and family;  Meredith Morris and husband Brian of Center, Texas and family; Sister, Linda Lane of Center, Texas and family.

BARBARA EDWARDS CRAWFORD
Barbara Edwards Crawford, 78, of Nacogdoches, died June 17, 2025 in Nacogdoches, Texas.  Interment was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Timpson, Texas.  She was born on November 28, 1946 in Nacogdoches, Texas. She lived her first few months at the Hotel Wiley, in Garrison, Texas which was owned by her Grandfather Norman Morris Edwards and wife Mattie. She then moved with her parents, Melvin and Jeanelle Tyer Edwards, to Timpson, Texas. She attended Timpson School from 1st -12th grade.  She was preceded in death by, Parents; Daughter, Barbara Michele Crawford.  Survivors include, Daughter, Christine Annette Crawford Rogers; Sister, Belinda Edwards Solomon and husband Larry; Brother, William Melvin (Lum) Edwards; Sister-in-law, Pat Crawford.
