BILLY JACK CORBELL
Billy Jack Corbell, 84, died July 08, 2020,in his home in Huxley, Texas.  Interment was in Wimberly Cemetery, Shelby County. He was born May 17, 1936 to William Perry and Aileen English Corbell. He was preceded in death by, Parents; Sister, Wilma Campbell; Brother-in-law, Elmo Campbell; Mother and Father-in-laws, Garland and Katherine Bailey; Brothers-in-law and Sister-in-law, Bruce and Betty Bailey and Danny Bruce Bailey.  Survivors include, Wife, Sue Corbell of Huxley; Children, Denise Jordan and husband Craig of Huxley, Jackie Myers and husband David of Huxley, Shane Corbell and wife Zonia of Huxley; Brothers, Gerald Corbell and wife Jean of San Augustine, Gordon Corbell and wife Nell of Shelbyville.

DAVID LEE NEPHI HELTON
David Lee Nephi Helton, 83, of Stillwater, Oklahoma, died July 1, 2020 from complications of Parkinson’s Disease. A celebration of his life will be held at the Folsom Chapel Cemetery, Shelby County.  He was born in Joplin, Missouri to Abraham Clyde Helton and Clara Belle Matson on March 8, 1937. He served in the United State Army, first in the infantry and then as a helicopter pilot. He was stationed in Berlin, Germany during the construction of the Berlin Wall. David served two tours of duty in Vietnam where he earned the Distinguished Flying Cross, Bronze Star, Air Medal w/numeral 8 and the Army Commendation Medal w/ 1 Oak Leaf Cluster. He loved his country and served valiantly for 21 years.  He was preceded in death by, Parents; Daughter, Suzanne Helton; Sister Dorothy Helton; Brother, Clyde Helton ( Norma Copeland); Sister, Rose Wiederaenders ( Warren Wiederaenders); Brother, John Helton.  Survivors include, Wife, Donnith Helton; Children, David Helton, Jr. (Debra McGinnis), Sharon Hillock (David Hillock), James Helton.

JIMMIE BURK MORELAND
Jimmie Burk Moreland, 91, of Timpson, Texas, died July 10, 2020 in Timpson, Texas. Interment was in Corinth Cemetery, Shelby County.  He was born on October 2, 1928 in Keller, Texas, to Robert Wesley Moreland and Lyddia Jane (Oldham) Moreland.  He went to Cadet School in the Air Force, graduating in 1953 as a 2nd Lt. with an aero rating of Celestial Navigator/Radar Operator before going to aircraft maintenance officer school.  He spent a 2 year tour overseas in Okinawa, Japan serving in the Vietnam War.  He was preceded in death by, Parents; Brothers, Jack Moreland, Billy Moreland; Sisters, Maxine Cecil, Lizzie Belle Hulsey, Ozell Stutes, Margie Hilliard.  Survivors include, Wife, Ethel Moreland; Son, Larry Moreland and wife Donna; Daughters, Judy Marlow, Linda Sockwell.

Interment was in Oaklawn Memorial Park, Center, Texas.  She was born January 15, 1929 in the Campti Community to Roy Thomas Bright and Essie Callendar Bright. She graduated from Shelbyville High School.  She was preceded in death by, Parents; Husband, Grady Holt; Siblings, Earl Bright, Glenda Cordova, Robert Bright.  Survivors include, Children, Charles Holt and wife Henri Ann of Port Orchard, Washington, Lourie Ihlo and husband Billy of Center; Sister-in-laws, Jeanette Bright of Center, Joyce Bright of Livingston.
