Jordan Chase Shisler, 8, of Greenwood, Texas, died July 23, 2018 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born on June 9, 2010 in Nacogdoches, Texas to Jordan Dean Shisler and Courtney Carol Cylene Swanson. Survivors include, Parents, Jordan Shisler of Center, Texas; Courtney and A. J. Green of Greenwood, Texas; Grandparents, Chad Earl Swanson and Rebecca Sinclair Swanson of Odessa, Texas, Jerry Elswick of Shelbyville, Texas, Paula Sanaugustine of Center, Texas, Jamie Nelson of Bryan, Texas; Great-Grandparents, Dean and Pauletta Shisler of Center, Texas.

BOBBY GENE SPRUIELL
Bobby Gene Spruiell, 75, died July 29, 2018 in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was born January 8, 1943 in Levelland, Texas to Fred and Pauline Noveta Spruiell. He served his country in the U. S. Air Force. He was preceded in death by, Parents; Wife, Raquel; Daughter, Novita; Brothers, Bill Spruiell, J. C. Spruiell; Sisters, Trudy McArthur, Shelly Kelsay, Linda Hoyt. Survivors include, Son, Chris Spruiell & wife, Cari of Georgetown; Daughter Rebekah Spruiell & partner, Nicole Ordoyne of Gretna, Louisiana; Brothers, Howard Spruiell of Center, Freddie and Ronnie Spruiell of Levelland; Sisters, Juanita Leonard of Denison and Jan Blankenship of Granite Shoals.
The family will hold a private memorial at a later date.
 
BOBBY GLEN JOHNSON
Bobby Glen Johnson, 54, of Center, Texas, died July 27, 2018. Interment will be in Mt. Gillion Cemetery, Shelby County. He was born September 28, 1963. Survivors include, Special Friend, Valerie Marshall of Center, Texas; Sons, Bobby Harris of Louisiana, LaCory Buckley of Center, Texas; Daughters, Patricia Harris of Timpson, Texas,Brittany Johnson of Nacogdoches, Texas; Brother, Joe Mack Johnson (Lender) of Timpson, Texas; Sisters, Linda Fay Johnson, Weatherd (James) of Center, Texas, Sue Jenkins of Garrison, Texas, Barbara Thomas (Eddie) of Italy, Texas.

GUS TERRELL CHILDS
Gus Terrell Childs, 97, of Timpson, Texas, died August 1, 2018 in Garrison, Texas. Interment will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Shelby County. He was born September 20, 1920, in Stockman, Texas, to Gus Trammel Childs and Ola Antha Hughes Childs. He entered the United States Air Force in 1939 after graduating from Timpson High School. He was crew and flight chief during World War II, serving mostly in North Africa. Then he served in several other places, including Sculthorpe, England and Lockbourne, Ohio, retiring as Chief Master Sergeant in 1962. He was preceded in death by, Wife, Margie Ramsey Childs. Survivors include, Daughter, Sue Childs Pinkston; Sons, Philip Childs & wife, Kathy, Jim Childs, & wife, Lisa.

DOUGLAS WILLIAM STONE
Douglas William Stone, 76, of Logansport, died July 25, 2018, in Garrison. Interment was in Oaklawn Memorial Park, Center, Texas. He was born May 25, 1942, in Logansport, Louisiana, to Raymond Oliver Stone and Beatron Wiggins Stone. He was preceded in death by, Parents; Wife, Ina Hennigan Stone; Brothers, Billy Ray Stone, Oliver Stone; Sister, Nelda Faye Heyen; Brother-in-law, G. W. Strong. Survivors include, Daughter, Teresa Watson & husband, Fess, of Joaquin; Son, Ronald Stone & wife, Susan, of Joaquin; Sisters, Margaret Sermons of Shreveport, Louisiana, Bettie Ann Strong of Center, Texas; Sister-in-law, Edith Stone of Springridge, Louisiana.

JOE TRAVIS WILLIAMS
Joe Travis Williams, 87, of Timpson, Texas, died July 28, 2018 in Nacogdoches, Texas. A memorial service will be held at a later date. He was born on June 25, 1931 in Corsicana, Texas to Joe Travis Williams Sr. and Gladys Richards Williams. He served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War. Joe served on the USS Bausell Destroyer. He was preceded in death by, Parents; Wife, Avie Ruth Rhodes Williams.
