FREDERICK DEWAYNE GARDNER, JR.
Frederick Dewayne Gardner, Jr., 15, of Center, died July 28, 2023, in Logansport, Louisiana.   Interment will be in Westview Cemetery, Center, Texas.  He was born to Frederick Dewayne Gardner, Sr. and LaTasha Rochelle Brumley Gardner on March 25, 2008.  He would have been an upcoming Freshman at Center High School. Frederick Jr. was active in basketball and track. Survivors include, Parents, Frederick Dewayne Gardner Sr. of Center, LaTasha Rochelle Brumley Gardner of Kountze; Brothers, Jamarion Mitchell of Kountze, Marcus Gardner of Center.

CAMO LEE MORTON
Camo Lee Morton, 17, of Timpson, Texas, died July 27, 2023, in Timpson, Texas.  Interment was in Corinth Cemetery, Shelby County.   He was born on December 13, 2005, in Shreveport, Louisiana, to Cheyenne Morton.  Survivors include, Father, Cheyenne Morton and Jill Tiller; Sisters, Kaylin Melton, Kelsey Blakely, Brylie Tiller.

DAVID RANDLE DENNIS
David “Randy” Randle Dennis, 60, of Joaquin, died July 30, 2023, in Joaquin, Texas.  Interment was in Sardis Cemetery, Shelby County.  He was born on January 4, 1963, in Center, Texas, to Albert Levi Dennis and Helen Joy Porter Dennis.  He was born in Center, Texas. He later moved to Port Lavaca before returning home to Shelby County. He attended Joaquin High School.  He was preceded in death by, Parents; Father and Mmother-in-law, Tye and Ann Brittain; Brother-in-law, Donald Perry.  Survivors include, Wife, Deborah Dennis; Daughter, Casey Marie Dennis & friend Stacy Rogers; Son, Christopher Dennis & wife Amanda; Brothers, Johnny Dennis, Willie Dennis & wife Deena, Shane Dennis & wife Wilma; Sisters, Judy Smith & husband Jay, Debra Perry, Diane Carroll & husband Dewey, Gege Byrd & husband Steven; Special friend and adopted daughter, Arcelli IIaida Porter.

SHIRLEY JANE GREEN
Shirley Jane Green, 82, died August 1, 2023, in Shelbyville.  Interment was in Carroll Cemetery, Shelby County.  Shirley was married to Edgar “Ed” Green for 52 years and they had three children, Mark, Mindy and Lacy.

Marlin W. (Pete) Bailey, 76, of Shelbyville, died July 26, 2023, in Shelbyville. Interment was in Liberty Hill Cemetery, San Augustine County.  He was born December 17, 1946, to Marlin Eugene Bailey and Cecil Lois Long Bailey.  He was preceded in death by, Wife, Judy Faye Parker Bailey; Daughter, Belinda Boren; Parents; Brother, James Earl Bailey; Sister, Ima Jean Hawkins.  Survivors include, Children, Carl Wayne Bailey & wife Brenda, Misty McDaniel & husband Brad, Jeannee M.
