LETITIA PAGE
Letitia “Tish” Page, 56, died July 27, 2021.  She was born on February 24, 1965, to the late Margie Von Adams Matthews in Center, Texas.  She attended Tenaha ISD from elementary to graduation in May 1983.  She served her country in the United States Air Force where she earned numerous medals like Air Force Good Conduct Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, MCO Professional Military Education ribbon, Combat Readiness medal, National Defense Service medal, Southwest Asia Service medal w/First Service Star, and Kuwait Liberation Medal – Saudi Arabia.  Survivors include, Daughter, Brittany Page; Son, Kale Page; Sisters, Robin Beatriz (Isaac) of Tenaha, Texas, Phyllis Thompson of Tenaha, Texas; Brothers, Dexter Adams of San Juan, Puerto Rico, Bryan Adams of Floresville, Texas, Jon Matthews (Tina) of San Antonio, Texas, Jason Matthews (Lana) of Nacogdoches, Texas.

MARGARET LOUISE GRIMSLEY BOWLIN
Margaret Louise Grimsley Bowlin, 83, of Shepherd, Texas, died July 28, 2021, in Lufkin Texas.  Interment will be in Ramah Cemetery, Shelby County.  She was born in Joaquin, Texas, on May 14, 1938, to A. D. Grimsley and Camilla Hall Grimsley.  She  attended Tenaha High School and graduated in 1957. She was preceded in death by, Parents; Siblings,  Mary Hansen, J. L. Grimsley, Frances McDaniel, Bill Grimsley, James Grimsley.  Survivors include, Children, Paul Wayne Bowlin & wife, Karen, of League City, Texas, Linda Gayle Bowlin Ferguson & husband, Tommy, of Shepherd, Texas, Lisa Anne Bowlin Kennedy & husband, Sean, of Etoile, Texas; Siblings, Nancy Kellar, Mamie Vanover (Jim), Forest Crawford (Sherry).

SARAH J. THOMAS COATS
Sarah J. Thomas Coats, 69, of Mesquite, Texas, died July 25, 2021 at a local hospital in Dallas, Texas.  Interment will be in Westview Cemetery, Center, Texas.  Survivors include, Son, Allen R. Coats Jr.; Special Daughter, Autumn McClelland; Siblings, Evelyn Cooper of Tyler, Texas; John Bethel Thomas Jr. (deceased), Dr. Clyde Thomas of Omaha, NE (deceased), Geraldine Steel of Center, Texas, Joe Leonard Thomas (deceased), Deloris Stripling (Verlon) of San Augustine Texas, William Thomas, Sr. (Maria) of Tyler, Texas, Joyce Mitchell (Joe) of Garland, Texas, David Thomas (Andrea) of Dallas, Texas, Eric Thomas of Amarillo, Texas (deceased) and one miscarriage.

CHARLIE JAMES RIGGANS, JR.
Charlie James “Jack” Riggans, Jr., 91, of Tenaha, Texas, died July 30, 2021 in Nacogdoches, Texas.  Interment was in Friendship Bobo Cemetery, Timpson, Texas. He was born September 20, 1929 in Tenaha, Texas to Charlie James Riggans, Sr. and Georgia Orton Riggans.  He was raised in Shelby County and graduated from the Timpson Colored High School.   He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.  He was preceded in death by, Parents; Siblings, R. L. Riggans, Teroy Riggans, Octavia Ash, Joy Faye Henderson, James (Sambo) Riggans, Paulette Scott,  Ozell Allen.  Survivors include, Wife, Addie Riggans; Children, Theresa Pitts, Remona Taylor & husband Carl, Charles Keith Riggans, Roy Riggans & wife Linda, Lisa McClure & husband Aubrey, Christy Dennis; Step-children, Kenneth Goodwin, Adrienne Gail Mitchell, Tamy Howard, Kevin Mitchell & wife Fran, Sandra Mitchell; Sister, Johnnie Riggans.

TOMMY GLENN LAND
Tommy Glenn Land "Bubba", 58, of East Liberty Community, died July 29, 2021, in Ft. Worth.   Interment will be in Rather Cemetery, Shelby County.  Survivors include, Wife, Rosalyn Land "Peaches" of Center; Son, Marshane (Felisa) Pitts of Spain; Daughters, Jozlin Moore of Center, Jakera Land of Plano; Sisters, Mary (Eliza) Suell of Center, Annette Land of Center; Mother-in-law, Myrtle Garrett of Center.
Services are under the direction of Community Funeral Home of Center.

MARK TWAIN LIVINGSTON
Mark Twain Livingston, 51, of Center, died July 26, 2021, in Center. He was cremated.  He was born July 5, 1970, in Center, to Donice Livingston and Barbara Watson Livingston.  He was preceded in death by his father.  Survivors include, Mother, Barbara Livingston; Sister, Donna Schoenewolf & husband Reggie.

LINDA JACQUE DOWNING TYRE
Linda Jacque Downing Tyre, 82, of Center, died August 3, 2021, in Center.  Interment will be in Oaklawn Memorial Park, Center, Texas.  She was born January 30, 1939, in Mabank, to Thomas “Jack” Downing and E. Cozette Reynolds Downing. She was preceded in death by, Parents; Husband, James E. Tyre Jr.; Son, James D. Tyre Sr.; Brother, Jeffery R. Lou Jane Womack, 65, of Tenaha, died August 3, 2021, in Tyler.  Interment was in Restland Cemetery, Shelby County.  She was born September 5, 1955, in Carthage, to Joe Dan Womack and Wandell Conner Womack.  She was a member of Tenaha High School’s Class of 1974.  She was preceded in death by, Father, Joe Dan Womack; Sisters, Rebecca King, Terrie Womack.  Survivors include, Mother, Wandell Womack of Tenaha; Brother, Jerry Womack & Dina of Marshall; Brother-in-law, Joe King of Monroe, Louisiana.

Keith C. BOBBIE FAYE IRISH WHITTAKER
Bobbie Faye Irish Whittaker, 92, of Buna died Monday, July 19, 2021 at Silsbee Oaks in Silsbee, Texas.  Interment was in Antioch Cemetery, Jasper County.  She was born February 28, 1928 in Shelby County, Texas to Bob M. Irish and Cavvie (Scruggs) Irish.   She had lived in Buna since 1969 and was a retired teacher for Buna ISD.  Survivors include, Daughters, Linda Faraci of Beaumont, Gay Whittaker of Buna, Robin Rutherford & Roy of Groves; and two grandsons, John Rutherford & Caitlyn, Joey Rutherford.
