Carl “Eddie” Green, 63, of Tenaha, died August 11, 2021, in Tyler.  He was cremated.  He was born October 30, 1957, in El Dorado, Arkansas, to Charles A. Green and Martha Mayfield Green.  He was preceded in death by, Parents; Sister, Mabel Campbell.  Survivors include, Wife, Donna Green; Sons, Chuck Green, Chris Green; Sister, Neomi Cophas.

STUART WAYNE STANLEY

BETTYE HITCHCOCK GRIMSLEY
Bettye Hitchcock Grimsley, 90, died on August 15, 2021. Interment was in Short Cemetery, Shelby County.  She was born on May 27, 1931 to Jesse A. Hitchcock and Elenora Phillips Hitchcock in the Providence Community of Burleson County Texas.  She was preceded in death by, Parents; Siblings; Husband, Choron Grimsley.  Survivors include, Son, Gerald & wife Janet.

Bro. Roger Bois Elumbaugh, 79, of Center, died August 16, 2021, in Nacogdoches.  Interment was in Mt. JOE LAWRENCE NICKLE

Joe Lawrence Nickle, 52, of Shreveport, Louisiana, died Saturday, August 14, 2021,  after more than a month of trying to recover from a COVID infection.  He was born on January 26,1969, to Reverend Dyson Venn Nickle, Sr. and Jane Routh Nickle in Longview, Texas. He was a 1987 graduate of Center High School, Center, Texas.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  Survivors include, Son, Cameron Nickle & his fiance, Ashley Daniello of Huntsville, Alabama; Brother, Dyson Nickle, Jr & wife Lena of Wells, Texas; Sister, Pynne Floresca & husband Mike of Woodbridge, Virginia.

MARLENE ALLEN
Marlene Allen, 80, of Center, died August 12, 2021, at Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital.  Interment was in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Shelby County.  Survivors include, Daughter, Adrenne (Bobby) Sparks of Center; Brothers, Alonzo Moore Jr. of Center, Freddie Moore of Center, Zelma Moore of Center, Micheal (Ethel) Moore of Center; Sister, Francis Casey of California.

DR. REBA ANN JERNIGAN POWERS
Dr. Reba Ann Jernigan Powers, 70, died August 15, 2021. Interment was in Antioch Cemetery, Shelby County.  She was born to the late Paul and Miriam Jernigan in Center, Texas.  She was preceded in death by, Brothers, Rickie Jernigan, Fern Jernigan.  Survivors include, Husband, Harry Powers of Amarillo, Texas; Children, Lucas Powers of Olean, NY; Dr. Liza Powers of Houston, Texas; Liberty Powers and wife Kallie, beloved grandson Huxley of Amarillo, Texas; Lydia Powers of Lake Charles, Louisiana. She is also survived by her siblings, Rebecca Towns and Woodie Jernigan.
