LAURIE MICHELLE SCHRIEWER
Laurie Michelle Schriewer, 51, of Center, died August 24, 2021, in Nacogdoches. Per her wishes, she will be cremated and no services are planned at this time.  She was born October 28, 1969, in San Antonio, to Woodrow J. Schriewer and Rebecca McCord Schriewer.  She was preceded in death by her mother.  Survivors include, Son, Dustin Schriewer of Center; Daughter, Sydney Paige Schriewer of Center; Dad, Woodrow Schriewer of Tyler; Sister, Chris S. Holladay of Magnolia.

AUBREY NORTON
Aubrey "Kenneth" Norton, 68, of Timpson, Texas, died August 24, 2021.  Funeral Services will be private, and the family plans to hold a private memorial.  He was born on December 4, 1952, in Center, Texas to A. P. Norton and Bessie Gann Norton. He grew up in the Patroon Community and graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1972. He joined the US Armed Forces after High School, spending nearly 12 years in the service.  He was preceded in death by, Parents; Brother, Larry Norton; Sister-in-law, Joyce Norton. Survivors include, Wife, Loretta Norton; Sons, Kenneth "Kenny" Wayne Norton, Charles Brooks Davis; Daughters, Jeannie Coleman (Walter), Diane Morales (Rosalino), Lisa Eddins (Gaylon); Brother, Lamar Norton; Sisters, Linda Blackmon (Welton), Bobbie Stewart.

VIRGEL E. HORN, JR.
Virgel E. Horn, Jr. (known to close family as Puggin), 78, died August 26, 2021, in Center, Texas.  Interment was in Rest Haven in Rockwall.  He was born October 26, 1942, in Center, Texas, to Virgel E. Horn Sr. and Mildred M. (Andrews) Horn. He joined the Air Force in 1967, going to OCS at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, becoming an Air Force intelligence officer specializing in battlefield intelligence. He spent the next 30 years on active and reserve duty, serving during Vietnam and Desert Storm, retiring in 1997 as Lt. Col.  He was preceded in death by, Parents; Wife, Cheryl Horn; Son, Jeffery Horn; Brothers, Harvey Horn, James Horn.  Survivors include, Sisters, Lamerl Yancey of Tyler, Texas, Linda Borders & husband Fred of Center, Texas; Brothers, Edward L. William "Bill" Glenn Gray, 92, of Center, died August 29, 2021 in Houston, Texas.  His wishes were to be cremated. Due to covid concerns a memorial service will be held at a later date with military honors in Center, Texas.  Final interment will be at the V.A.
