Woodrow Wilson Foster,
101, of the Short Community of Shelby County, died September 15, 2014 in Henderson. Interment was in Short Cemetery, Shelby County. He was born November 5, 1912 in Stephenville to William Thomas Foster and Annie Lou Blanton Foster. One of his greatest achievements was being named the winner of the annual Texas State Artist competition in 1991. Woodrow retired from art in 2004, but continued to draw his caricatures. He lived at his home in the Short Community until 2012, when at 100 years of age, he moved to Henderson to live with his daughter.
