The Shelby County Historical Society will hold its monthly meeting November 17, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. in the Shelby County Museum on Pecan Street. The guest speaker this month will be Mr. David Swanzy.  He will speak to us about the Elusive Historical Facts that enhance Shelby County traditional history.  Everyone is invited to attend.

Robert Hilton Adams, Sr., 73, died October 11, 2015. No services are planned, a private memorial service will be held by his family at a later date. He was born on December 4,1941 to Robert Carroll Adams and Pearl Hughes Adams in Center, Texas. Robert "Baby Joe" was preceded in death by, Parents; Brothers, Franklin Carroll Adams, Walter Harold Adams. SHIRLEY ANN KOLTONSKI
Shirley Ann Koltonski, 64, of Shelbyville, died October 23, 2015 in Lufkin, Texas. Interment was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Shelby County. She was born December 8, 1950 in Shelby County to John William and Fronie Estelle Denby Moore. She was preceded in death by her parents.
