The Shelby County Historical Society will hold its monthly meeting on November 19, 2019 at 2:00 P. M. in the Shelby County Museum on Pecan Street. The speaker this month will be Mrs. Merle Howard.  She will speak to us about the Center School Bell. Everyone is invited to attend.

Karen, lovingly known throughout her life as “Cookie”, was born in Logansport, Louisiana on August 17, 1949 to Lloyd “Shug” Creech and Betty VanCleave Creech. She was preceded in death by, Parents; Husband, Charlie Thompson; Brother, Danny Creech. Survivors include, Son, Charlie B. Thompson of New Orleans, Louisiana; Brothers:, Billy Creech of Logansport, Louisiana, Sam Creech & husband Michael “Niko” Corolla of Irving, Texas.

Davis and Grace Estelle Doggett Davis. She was a bookkeeper for the radio station for many years. She was preceded in death by, Parents; Brothers, Jimmy Davis, James Davis.
