Jan Plowman, 76, of Huxley, died December 3, 2019, in Katy. Interment was in Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery, Hitchcock, Texas. She was born October 17, 1943 in Hays, Kansas, to Karl Fredrick Scherer and Lois Sutton Reed. She was preceded in death by, Parents; Brother, Craig Reed. Survivors include, Son, Willy Plowman & wife, Kerri; Brothers, Fred Scherer & wife, LaNell, Ed David, Dennis David & wife, Tina, Doug Reed & wife Leigh; Sisters, Denise Nutter & husband Wayne, Debbie Jones & partner Craig Bigler.

MARTHA KATHARINE BRITTAIN
Martha Katharine Brittain, 67, died on November 24, 2019 in Portland, Maine. She was born June 12, 1952 in Dallas, Texas to Perry George Brittain and Martha Nelle Black. She moved to the family farm in East Texas in 1999. She worked with cattle and raised Texas longhorns. She was active in churches in Dallas, Center and Timpson Texas where she taught Sunday school. Survivors include, Son, Carlton of Maine, Sister, Jennifer Giese of Bedford Wyoming; Mother, Martha Brittain.
