MILDRED CELESTE CREECH WEBB
Mildred Celeste Creech Webb, 85, of Center, died December 15, 2021, in Nacogdoches.  Interment was in Oaklawn Memorial Park, Center, Texas.  She was born  on December 13, 1936, in Shelbyville, to Judge John Creech and Judge Dora Adams Creech.  She graduated from Shelbyville High School.  She was preceded in death by, Husband, Eugene Webb; Father, John Creech; Mother, Dora Creech; Brother, Elbert Paul Creech; Sister, Margaret Frances; Brother, James Raymond; Brother, Billy Bryant Creech; Brother-in-law, Robert Stephen Webb; Sister-in-law, Betty Webb.  Survivors include, Son, Keith Webb & wife Melinda of Center; Brothers, Roy Glenn Creech of Starkville, Mississippi, Jerry Lynn Creech of Nederland; Sister, Marcell Lee Geudner of Denver, Colorado.

LISA PIERCE MAY
Lisa Pierce May, 61, of Joaquin, died December 15, 2021, in Center.  Her wishes were to be cremated.  She was born September 20, 1960, to Lawrence Pierce and Margie Hemphill Pierce.  She was preceded in death by, Parents; Brother, Tootsie Pierce.  Survivors include, Children, Charlee Siau & Daniel, Chasidee Harvey & Keith, Christee Cooper & Shannon, Angela Miller; Brothers, Tommy Pierce, Rickey Pierce; Sister, Kathy Seago.

MARTHA NELLE BLACK BRITTAIN
Martha Nelle Black Brittain, 96, died December 7, 2021, at her home in Waldoboro, Maine. Interment was in Oaklawn Memorial Park, Center, Texas. She was preceded in death by, Husband, Perry George; Daughter, Martha Katharine.  Survivors include, Daughter, Jennifer Giese of Bedford, Wyoming; Carlton and Sara Rauschenbreg of Waldoboro, Maine.  Martha and Perry were high school sweethearts in Center, Texas who married at the end of World War II. After retirement they moved back to Center and lived the country life: raising cattle and being involved in community affairs. In 2012 Martha and Kathy sold their farm in Texas and moved to Mid Coast Maine near Carlton and Sara.

LLOYD WAYNE KENYON
Lloyd Wayne Kenyon, 83, of Shelbyville, died December 21, 2021, in Shelbyville.  He was born April 8, 1938, to Ernest Robert Kenyon and Mamie Eldridge Kenyon.  He retired from the United States Navy.  He was preceded in death by, Parents; brothers, Aubrey and Charles Kenyon.  Survivors include, Wife, Betty Kenyon; Son, Robert Kenyon & wife Donna; Son, Jeff Kenyon; Daughter, Laurie Huskins & husband Don; Stepsons, Tony Veazey, Scott Veazey; Sister, Patsy Lou Kerbo.

JOHN ELBERT WATSON

John Elbert Watson, 94, died November 10, 2021.  Interment was in Chapell Hill Masonic Cemetery. He was born an only child, to Sim Jewell Watson and Zettye Neill Watson on February 23, 1927, in Center, Shelby County, Texas. When John was 3, he accompanied his mother, the town’s teacher daily to the one room schoolhouse in the Sardis Community of Shelby County. He graduated from Center High School.  He served his country in the U. S. Army during WWII.  He was preceded in death by his first wife Grace, and his grandchildren, Luke and Rachel Watson.  Survivors include, Wife, Ann Campbell Watson; Son, John Kenneth Watson & daughter-in-law, Debbie Watson; Son, Stanley Clifford Watson; Son, Michael Wayne Watson & daughter-in-law, Tammy Watson; Daughter, Cindy Pate & son-in-law, Allen Pate; Daughter, Gina McFarland & son-in-law, Doug McFarland; Daughter, Karmen Cunningham & son-in-law, Cash Cunningham; Daughter, Lee Ann Platt & son-in-law, Doug Platt; Son, Sam Watson & daughter-in-law, Melinda Watson.

KAREN SUE TOMASZEWSKI
Karen Sue Tomaszewski, 80, of Center, died December 15, 2021, in Nacogdoches.  Interment was in Oaklawn Memorial Park, Center, Texas.  She was born December 4, 1941, in Sentinel, Oklahoma, to Irving Ormand and Mae King Ormand.  She was preceded in death by, Parents; Husband, Joseph Anthony Tomaszewski; Brother, Donald Ormand.  Survivors include, Children, Mary Young of Austin, David Tomaszewski of Richmond, Kathy Hawkes of Center, Stephen Tomaszewski of Hobbs, New Mexico, Rebekah Sauls of Spring, Margaret Tomaszewski of Dallas, Elizabeth Hawkins of Lufkin.

RENDELL MARCEL HORTON
Rendell Marcel Horton, 30, of Houston, Texas, died December 14, 2021, at HCA North Cypress Hospital in Houston.  Interment was in Buckley Cemetery, Sexton, Texas.  Survivors include, Wife, Cristina Bedford Horton of Houston; Sons, Jaylon King Bedford of Houston, Mason Marcel Horton of Nacogdoches; Daughter, Amari Rose Horton of Lufkin; Parents, Randy Roland and Sonya Horton Roland of San Augustine; Brothers, Norell Horton (Bianca) of Nacogdoches, Jacolby Roland of Center; Sisters, Amber Horton of Nacogdoches, Natasha Davis (Johnathan) of Douglas; Sister-in-Law, Chinoye Okere of Houston; Brother-in-Law, Carl Sanders Jr. of Houston.
Services are under the direction of Percy Gardner and Son Mortuary, San Augustine, Texas.
